Here are 10 things about me: 1). I was born in Utah 2). I love to sing 3). I lived in England for 8 years 4). My nick-name is Snow White because I look like her 5). I can't stand watermelon 6). I love to roller skate 7). I'm growing my hair out long again (shoulder length now) 8). I'm the middle of 3 girls 9). I look like my dad 10). I have been to Amish Country 3 times! YeshuasTikvah ~Reminisce Member~ Posts: 44 (4/1/03 6:36 am) Reply	Re: 10 Things About Me Okay-dokey...but only ten???? 1) I love to sing. 2) Reading is a passion with me. 3) I celebrate Passover and the other Feast Days. 4) I was born at home. 5) I am also growing out my hair...it's just past my shoulders now. 6) I wear glasses. 7) I can't stand bananas. 8) I'd love to have many children someday. 9) My favorite color is pink. 10) I'm nearly 18 and still haven't gotten my driver's permit (BUT I am studying for it and should get it soon!!!). By the way Krista,I wear glasses too! 1) I am the eldest of ten children (eight with us,two in heaven). 2) I love writing prose (I have no poetic gifts ). 3) I love reading. 4) I have worn dresses/skirts only since I was eleven. 5) I'm a born-and-bred Mississippian and proud of it. 6) I am Southern to the core. 7) I love history. 8) We love living in the country. 9) I have dark hair & eyes. 10) I want to be a keeper at home and have many children (if the Lord wills it). His Handmaid ~Reminisce Member~ Posts: 42 (4/2/03 2:01 pm) Reply	Re: 10 Things About Me Okay, here are ten things about me… 1) My favorite color is pink. 2) I enjoy playing the piano and singing. 3) I look like my mom (we get lots of comments about how much we look alike!) 4) I love fabric stores! 5) I like to eat frozen vegetables and cold food. 6) I enjoy being with people…most of the time! 7) I laugh a lot! (Just ask anyone who has been around me for a few minutes!) 8) I have been to Ukraine on a missions trip once. 9) I’m the only girl and love having a big brother! 10) I enjoy making up new words (like “flafloonky” –which means like a wimpy balloon), and nonsensical phrases (such as “the fiction of the facts!”). I could think of a zillion other things, but there’s just a peek at me! Krista and Emma – I wear glasses, too!!! I am so glad God created diversity. It keeps life so interesting. My 10: 1. I'm 5'10" 2. two-tone hair down to my waist 3. allergic to mushrooms 4. love the smell of wet rock or earth 5. I love spending time with my family. (Why don't you go to camp? "If I do my family will miss me." Ok really I will miss them! ) 2. I love to build websites. (I just finished updating the one for the homeschoolers here in HI. Ahh I need to update mine!) 3. I am totally a country girl!! I hate to live in the city. Give me space please!! 4. My room is a mess but I know where (almost) everything is. (I have read this (things being messy but you know where everything is) is a first born trait. Interesting) 5. I was born at Mather Airforce Base in California. The entire rest of my family was born in MI. 6. I LOVE historical fashions. I can just spend hours looking at pictures of historical costume. 7. Ralph Lauren is my Fave designer and I would really love to meet him! 8. I used to think wearing dresses all the time was wierd, but now I pretty much do and a few of my others friends do too. 9. Hey, God knows what you're thinking.). 4) I have shoulder-length light brown hair. 5) My room is a mess, and sometimes I can find things. 6) I have a sheltie named Chanukah, and a sister named Shalom, and no, we're not Jewish. 7) My favorite food is potatoes. 8) I play the flute. 9) I am obsessed with books by J.R.R. I'm working on 2 full-length dramas, and various novels, because I love writing. 3. One of my feet is slightly (and I mean slightly) larger than the other 4. I love the country, open fields of farmland, mountains (I'm gonna live in them someday ) ranches, and log cabins, and horses. 5. I am fearful of heights and rollrcoasters (call me a chicken and boring, but it's true, i don't like rollercoasters! ) 6. I am 5'5. 7. I struggle with self-conscienceness when talking to people face to face, and tend to be very reserved, believe it or not . Get me up in front of a group singing, playing piano, giving a speech, or performing a skit or play, and I'm fine. It's just 1 on 1 talking that is hard for me at times $:\$ 8. I was born on the same day as Jonathan Edwards, October 5th 9. My friends always tell people concerning me that "she seems quiet and reserved, but watch out once you get to know her!" 10. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who make mountains out of molehills. That gets on my nerves faster than almost anything else $:\$ That's my ten. I don’t know anyone else who does (I never could convince anyone to try them), but that just happens to be part of my crazy self! They are just SO yummy!!! I usually grab some when we are making them for dinner. I have liked them ever since I was little, around 3 or so… Very unusual I know… But you should have seen me when I read your question – I had quite a good laugh over it!! Blessings! ~Hannah

I wanted to play the harp when my parents offered to let me take music lessons, but my mom said no, because harps are expensive, and she wasn't sure if she could find a teacher. So I play the flute instead. But it bothers me that there is a face for the violin and the harp, but not a flute! Just kidding, of course...Anyway, that had nothing to do with anything, I just wanted to tell you that I think it is very neat that you play the harp. I suppose I should post 10 things about me too! Here goes... 1. I was saved when I was 5 years old, and rededicated my life to Christ at age 13. 2. My parents and I prayed when I was in my early teens for good, Christian friends I could share with. I sent my name in for pen-pals and received approx. 70 replies. That was the beginning of Genteel Girlhood, which the Lord has used to really change my life. 3. If I could choose any state to live in, besides Missouri, it'd be Colorado. I absolutely love it out there! 4. One of my most embarresing moments was... My family and I went to a small town festival and I wasn't watching where I was walking. (It was a very historic town and the sidewalks in that town are horrible!) I was about 7 years old. So anyhow I fell, rolled in the ditch and was so confused I kept rolling in the ditch, with my face down. $:\$ When I finally got up I was covered in freshly mown, wet, slimey grass. Yuck! $:\$ 5. I am a columnist for "Home School Enrichment Magazine". My first article will be in the May/June issue, due out April 22! (I'm excited!! It's just a great opportunity from the Lord!! ) 6. I was the secretary for my 4-H club for 2 years. We had about 75 members, with a lot of very strange last names. Every meeting I had to do the roll call...and each time it seemed I pronouced the names differently. They were extremely nice people, and for that I'm thankful! 7. I graduated Homeschool High School 2 years ago. Right now I'm working on a B.A. in Christian Education. 8. My family and I are members of an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church. 9. I wear dresses most all the time. However, I believe modesty is first and foremost an issue of the heart. 10. I love antique shopping and flea marketing. That really blessed me to hear you mention that Also....the Lord has really blessed my life through your families ministry......it's such a blessing having like minded sisters! Last year, the secretary could never get the names out, then she moved to Texas, and I took over, and it took about five minutes for me to figure out some of these people's names! When I joined a choir group, they had to put me with the guys. 2) My hair grows extremely sloooooooooow. I've been growing out my hair since I was 12 and it just made it to the middle of my back. It was shoulder length when I started. 3) I'm weird in the fact that I like being alone to do my own thing. 4) I love to read(a.k.a. do my own thing ). I love the LOTR books. 5) I love to travel. I love going on looooong car rides, like visiting my aunt in NC(12 hrs.), or visiting my friends in Maine(6 hrs.) 6) I like frozen veggies(See, you're not weird). I like frozen corn the best. 7) I keep the Sabbath and almost every other Jewish holiday and I'm learning Hebrew. 8) My parents are divorced. Long story. I live with my mom. 9) I wear skirts and dresses 12/7. Except for when I sleep. Then I wear a nightgown or a pair of pj's 10) If I don't know you, I don't talk much, but if I do, heaven help you! My friends and family like takng me to meet new people, because it is one of the few times I'm quiet. Well, there are my ten things about me. Public, private, and homeshcool. So far home school is the very best!!! 2) I LOVE cats. Did I say love? Thats an understatement, I ADORE CATS!!! 3) I love historical fashions!! I just recently finished a Colonial era ball gown(NOT EASY ) 4)I love the color purple. Don't ask me why but I adore it. 5)All of the children in my family's names begin with C. 6)I am terrified of the dark!! When I was a small child (before my mom became a christian) my dad made me watch horror movies in hopes to "toughen me up". That really worked!! 7)I love babies!! 8)I just recently had my second dreamcome true. I got a piano!! Well it isn't mine, its my mom's but hey close enough. 9)For the past 3 yrs I have been to one wedding a yr. This yr is not to be out done I'm going to my uncles long awaited wedding. I work for my dad building mini barns (storage buildings) 5. I love to wear dresses, though I'm not able to as much now because of the type of work I do-climbing on roofs, and ladders, ect!! 6. I'm 5'6 (and my weight will remain unknown. ) I have very green eyes and medium golden brown hair. 3. I live in the middle of nowhere in WV. (Ask Emilee! ) 4. I went to a Christian school for a couple years and then was homeschooled. I graduated about 3 weeks ago. 5. My dad died whe I was 9 months old. And then my mom remarried when I was 6 years old. 6. I love to write! 7. I love kids! 8. I attend an Independent Baptist Church too. 9. I hope to take correspondence courses for a year. And then go to "Crown Christian College" in Powell, TN. 10. I got my license 2 1/2 weeks ago! Yay! After having my permit for two year, I finally got my license at 17 1/2 years old.

I don’t know anyone else who does (I never could convince anyone to try them), but that just happens to be part of my crazy self! They are just SO yummy!!! I usually grab some when we are making them for dinner. I wanted to play the harp when my parents offered to let me take music lessons, but my mom said no, because harps are expensive, and she wasn't sure if she could find a teacher. So I play the flute instead. But it bothers me that there is a face for the violin and the harp, but not a flute! Just kidding, of course...Anyway, that had nothing to do with anything, I just wanted to tell you that I think it is very neat that you play the harp. I suppose I should post 10 things about me too! Here goes... 1. I was saved when I was 5 years old, and rededicated my life to Christ at age 13. 2. My parents and I prayed when I was in my early teens for good, Christian friends I could share with. I sent my name in for pen-pals and received approx. 70 replies. That was the beginning of Genteel Girlhood, which the Lord has used to really change my life. 3. If I could choose any state to live in, besides Missouri, it'd be Colorado. I absolutely love it out there! 4. One of my most embarresing moments was... My family and I went to a small town festival and I wasn't watching where I was walking. (It was a very historic town and the sidewalks in that town are horrible!) I was about 7 years old. So anyhow I fell, rolled in the ditch and was so confused I kept rolling in the ditch, with my face down. $:\$ When I finally got up I was covered in freshly mown, wet, slimey grass. Yuck! $:\$ 5. I am a columnist for "Home School Enrichment Magazine". My first article will be in the May/June issue, due out April 22! (I'm excited!! It's just a great opportunity from the Lord!! ) 6. I was the secretary for my 4-H club for 2 years. We had about 75 members, with a lot of very strange last names. Every meeting I had to do the roll call...and each time it seemed I pronouced the names differently. They were extremely nice people, and for that I'm thankful! 7. I graduated Homeschool High School 2 years ago. Right now I'm working on a B.A. in Christian Education. 8. My family and I are members of an Independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church. 9. I wear dresses most all the time. However, I believe modesty is first and foremost an issue of the heart. 10. I love antique shopping and flea marketing. Last year, the secretary could never get the names out, then she moved to Texas, and I took over, and it took about five minutes for me to figure out some of these people's names! When I joined a choir group, they had to put me with the guys. 2) My hair grows extremely sloooooooooow. I've been growing out my hair since I was 12 and it just made it to the middle of my back. It was shoulder length when I started. 3) I'm weird in the fact that I like being alone to do my own thing. 4) I love to read(a.k.a. do my own thing ). I love the LOTR books. 5) I love to travel. I love going on looooong car rides, like visiting my aunt in NC(12 hrs.), or visiting my friends in Maine(6 hrs.) 6) I like frozen veggies(See, you're not weird). I like frozen corn the best. 7) I keep the Sabbath and almost every other Jewish holiday and I'm learning Hebrew. 8) My parents are divorced. Long story. I live with my mom. 9) I wear skirts and dresses 12/7. Except for when I sleep. Then I wear a nightgown or a pair of pj's 10) If I don't know you, I don't talk much, but if I do, heaven help you! My friends and family like takng me to meet new people, because it is one of the few times I'm quiet. Well, there are my ten things about me. Public, private, and homeshcool. So far home school is the very best!!! 2) I LOVE cats. Did I say love? Thats an understatement, I ADORE CATS!!! 3) I love historical fashions!! I just recently finished a Colonial era ball gown(NOT EASY ) 4)I love the color purple. Don't ask me why but I adore it. 5)All of the children in my family's names begin with C. 6)I am terrified of the dark!! When I was a small child (before my mom became a christian) my dad made me watch horror movies in hopes to "toughen me up". That really worked!! 7)I love babies!! 8)I just recently had my second dreamcome true. I got a piano!! Well it isn't mine, its my mom's but hey close enough. 9)For the past 3 yrs I have been to one wedding a yr. This yr is not to be out done I'm going to my uncles long awaited wedding. I'm 5'6 (and my weight will remain unknown. ) I have very green eyes and medium golden brown hair. 3. I live in the middle of nowhere in WV. (Ask Emilee! ) 4. I went to a Christian school for a couple years and then was homeschooled. I graduated about 3 weeks ago. 5. My dad died whe I was 9 months old. And then my mom remarried when I was 6 years old. 6. I love to write! 7. I love kids! 8. I attend an Independent Baptist Church too. 9. I hope to take correspondence courses for a year. And then go to "Crown Christian College" in Powell, TN. 10. I got my license 2 1/2 weeks ago! Yay! After having my permit for two year, I finally got my license at 17 1/2 years old.
