383 Stroker
I'm looking into stroking my 70 RR from 383 to 480. Wondering if anyone has attempted to do this and if they could give me a bit of guidance in this endeavor. I'm looking at a 4.15" crank, H-beam rods and lightweight piston (Keith Black or Diamond Racing Pistons or something like that. I want to put a set of the new Edelbrock Aluminum heads and would love to find one of the old Edelbrock STR-15 crossram manifolds. I think that would just top the whole thing off. Any suggestions would be definitely appreciated.

Re: 383 Stroker
Hello. A friend of mine built a 452 cu in for his 71 Road Runner last year. He followed the build up in High Performance Mopar's project "Roach Runner". Car works very well. There's no shortage of articles on the type of build up you're interested in.

Keep the board updated on your progress.

Regards
Art
