69 RR with 383 non hp???
guys i need some help... i just picked up this 69 Runner, it has a turqoise 383 motor witch to the best of my knowledge is a non hp motor, but the thing that i dont unerstand is the VIN on the block matches the one on the dash and it looks like an original stamp, it doesnt look like its ever been restamped before...... the car doesnt have the build sheet, the tag says its supposed to be a 383 hp.... anyway i guess my question would be, has anyone ever heard of a Road Runner being ordered with a 383 non hp motor back in 1969??? did AC cars come with different color motors?
It looks like an old man ordered this car, its got AC, the light package, a rear defogger, head rests, and bumperets. its a bench seat with a column auto that i guess is kinda rare in 69 but im not sure
please help me!!!!
you can either post your answer here or email me at iroc_z28_83@yahoo.com
Thank You

Sounds suspicious.....are you absolutely sure that it is/was an original Roadrunner? VIN should start with RM21 or RM23 depending on whether or not is a coupe or hardtop body...
I've seen some 69 RR's with AC, and they had the usual orange engines...but hey....it's Chrysler!
