70s Checkers programs
I'm up in New Jersey at the Meigray game worn jersey Expo and I ran into a guy who has a TON of old Checkers programs for sale. He's got nearly a complete set (if not the full set) of 70-71 and 71-72 programs...well he did before a bought a couple of each. He has a good deal of 72-73 and 73-74 programs as well. The vast majority are in excellent shape. Remember that 70-71 was the championship year that really made the hockey world stand up and take notice of hockey's potential in the south. I've never found any 70-71s prior to today. He's asking $5 each for them. Send me an email and I'll put you in touch with him when I return if you're interested.
I've taken quite a few pictures of jerseys and memorabilia dating as far back as the 1920s. I'll post a link once I get them uploaded to my Photobucket site.
