A Gathering Poem
Oh come ye all upon the snows
And watch the Gathering Twilight grow
Forged in dream, Formed by might
To turn back the dark, Uncover the light
Among the few the visions came
An ominous voice to one and same
“The Nameless comes to take back what’s his
…Ware the world in which you live.”
The end of this cycle draws close indeed
A renewal of life or ending of seed?
So few of us chosen, so little is known
Such little time to defend our small home
Knowledge is power and what we must gain
Turn back the Nameless before he rises again
The four corners of Norrath and its tiny moon
We continue to search and battle, for soon…
…The time will come for wars to be fought
Ancient texts be read, and spells be wrought
We continue to watch the grey approach
The light growing dimmer, veil being broached
For now dear brothers we stand at the ready
Hands on hilts, solemn and steady
We stand, our small tribe, upon the snows
And watch the Gathering Twilight grow
