A Quick Question..
I had a look about your forum and I just fell in love with it! I have been searching for a good Peter Pan rpg and I think I've found it..but anyhoo, I am very interested in joining as Mermaid. However, I didn't know if you were going by the recent movie or the book on what the mermaids would look like..
..because y'know in some versions of the book they were beautiful beings, sometimes they were a little..erm..and then in the recent movie, they were that strange pigmented color and a little on the scary side. (atleast to me *shifty eyes*) LOL. I was going to whip together a signature too for when I applied, but I ran into the whole appearance thing.
Anyway, if you could just let me know, I'll be havin' and application up quicker than molasses on a hot summer day..wait..that doesn't say much....Well, you know what I mean.
I think the ones in Peter Pan (2003) were really pretty! They actually looked like they were half-fish/half-woman, claws and webbed hands would (in reality) be needed to making your living in swimming! We have another mermaid right now, so you can check to see what her idea was. Mermaids will most likely have long hair to comb all day. Barrie does state that the mermaids can be rather evil and kill people.
Oh! And thanks for the compliment! I love Peter Pan and I wanted to create a quality RPG for it. Not one that relied on the Disney version, I liked the book and I think the most recent movie is the closest to the book, its always a plus when Peter is actually played by a boy and is wearing leaves!
Re: A Quick Question..
Okay, cool! I already finished it, as you can see below- if it's working...so I think Im just gonna go with the movie version. They were cool. I have to agree. There was just something a little unsettling- but they were still pretty awesome!
Oh, and you deserve a compliment for it. I love the layout and everything..and it was about damned time they got a boy to play Peter- a pretty good looking one at that. LOL. Anyway, I should have my application up later tonight..Im just having a little trouble with the history. That's all. No worries though!
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, I appreciate it very much.
Re: A Quick Question..
No prob, if a question isn't answered about joining, how is it expected that anyone joins?! Yay! Another mermaid! oh, and Jeremy Strumper is very fine, fine indeed.
Oh! Oh! My friend and I were watching the movie, and she was like, hey he'd look really good in eyeliner. So i drag myself to the computer and begin fiddling around with a very nice picture. After many many tries, I got the eyeliner right - and all the white bits from the older background out of his hair. Tis very nice. ^_^
When I find out how to change the .png to .jpg, I'll post it.
