A Roswell Christmas Carol

The air date is Dec. 18, this is episode 11, which is currently
filming.

Max, struggling with using his healing powers to perform
Christmas miracle, after witnessing a senseless tragedy. While
Roswell is aglow with the holiday spirit, Max is haunted by the
ghost of a man who sacrifices his own life to save his daughters.

It's not such a wonderful life for Max after he allows a man to die rather than use his powers in public to save him.
A car strikes a holiday shopper (John Littlefield) who pushed his daughter out of the path of the vehicle. As the man lies dying on a crowded sidewalk, Max (Jason Behr) resists the urge to help him. The man's ghost then haunts the alien teen (the only one who can see him), demanding that Max do something to “restore the balance” for letting him perish.
A more mundane Christmas crisis plagues Michael (Brendan Fehr). He agonizes over a present for Maria (Majandra Delfino), since he neglected to get her any gift at all last year.

Oh, hey, Brian or Midwest Max...I can't download Quicktime at work and haven't at home yet. Is there any way you can post the trailer you've all been talking about so those of us who can't watch it may have a chance to at least see the pics it shows...??? Just curious. I WILL download it tonight or tomorrow though!

IMM~ You CAN stay away from the spoilers! I know you can... I haven't read any for a while now and I like it sooo much better--being surprised is great! However I did see some of this being filmed and heard a lot that night about it...so unfortunately I know a little bit ahead of time, but I don't know much about M/L stuff, so that'll be a nice surprise.
Midwest Max~ I'm not sure if you can post that kind of trailer with sound and everything. But you might be able to just at least post the pics (they'll trail through like the one I posted a few posts up flipping through 2 different pics). How I do that is right-click on the pic/pics while they're cycling, go down to Properties and copy the URL address of the pic show (highlight the whole address and Control+C for copy). Then come here and when you're typing your post put [image]then right here with no spaces anywhere paste the URL (Control+V for paste) then you have to do [/image] at the end (REMEMBER: No spaces anywhere...the [image] & [/image] go right on either side of the URL address. You can try that to see if it works. If it doesn't, then I don't know what else to try...
Let me know if I confused you or you don't get it.

Tina, I think movies work a little differently than slide shows. There aren't individual properties for each image because it isn't stills, it's moving. I right clicked, got nothing.
All these promos are making me wish the weekend was done and over with and that never happens I can't believe I am saying this but I can't wait until Monday!!!!!!

Maria, thank you so much for posting the trailer! I don't watch any other shows on the WB, so I always miss the trailer. It was great to see it! Looks like a great ep - poor guilt-ridden Max. Can't wait until Monday!

Ok I noticed something in the trailer..
Right when Michael says Max what are you doing.. (really when he says "doing") It looks like someone is dream walking. The sides of the screen go like a dream walk. Now who knows.. maybe its just Max weakening or something. But it sure did look weird... just something that made me go HMMMMMM...
Oh how I can't wait for this one.. This is going to be good..

IMM - I kind of figured it was Max's distorted vision as he was about to pass out. I think I'm more curious why Michael was there. We haven't had alot of Max/Michael moments this year, and the ones we have had have not been pleasant. Very curious, indeed.
And for the record - I just want someone to kiss someone! For God's sake, we're on episode 10 and the only kissing we've seen was between Michael and Courtney! And now she's dead! At this point, I don't care who it is - where is the tenderness?????

awwww. I love kyle and tess.. they're so cute!!! and max.. wah wah wah.. he's so nice aww this was a cute show.. even if there weren't many liz/max moments... oh and the christmas nazi cracks me up.. oh everyone had good moments in this episode!!!

WOW! I am not one to cry during a Roswell episode, but I balled! It was so touching. I just loved this episode...reminds me of the Roswell we all know and LOVE! That's all I can say for now, I am still emotional from it.

Right on Vicki, this was a very emotional episode. Sad, beautiful, funny, touching - all at the same time. Like "TEOTW", this one could make you laugh at one scene, cry at the next. Its an instant classic, ranking right up there with "TEOTW", "The White Room", and "Destiny."
One scene just shocked me numb - when Brody came out behind his daughter. Just something totally unexpected...it choked me up. Max saving all those kids and Max and Michael watching Brody read to his daughter...the same thing. A really tough ep to get through, but well worth it.
Their powers can run down, interesting. Some generic Dreamgirl moments throw in - Max reflected in the window of The Crashdown as Liz looks out; Max knocking on Liz's window. Gee, haven't seen all of that too many times. But should give you ladies a bit of a thrill as there haven't been many of the typical M/L moments this season. Nice interaction between Tess and the Valenti's. Funny to see the Sheriff freaking out. Nice to see Katherine Heigl give Izzy a bit of an edge, this ep. I think the events of the past 4 eppys or so have really changed her.
Awww man, now we have to go over a month with no new shows. Seems unfair. At least we get "Ask Not" and "Surprise!" to tide us over. Just curious, if they are running repeats on Christmas Day why is the Roswell timeslot occupied by "Felicity" (at least on KTLA)? Why not show a Roswell rerun, it is that show's time slot after all.
