A Sea of Lies and the Strength of Love . . . Deathly Black is all around, Ready to choke me, As I drown, in the evil sea. Swimming past lies, I try and breathe, But my tries, Make the air leave. Silver blinds my eyes. The pain is not fake All of my selfish lies, I begin to hate. Becoming as light, as the air I begin a purer plight. To a world of care. Strong arms lift me fromt that which is bleak, Blessing me with a gift That causes my eyes to leak. My tears are not of grief Since you came to my relief. I only have myself to blame. For so long I lived in hate I felt I did not belong With my friends of late Imprisoning myself in chains of mistrust I stayed within my skinly husk. Yet now that you came to me I am through with living alone without thee. Ever Silent, Ever Wandering, SilantWanderer |

Re: A Sea of Lies and the Strength of Love . . .
Interesting metaphores. I like the beginning stanza "Deathly Black is all around, Ready to choke me, As I drown,in the evil sea." Has a claustrophobic feeling.
