Hello Ladies! Here is a really great dishcloth pattern! It is easy to follow - easy enough for beginners(like me!), and it is so very useful! My sister - who just recently taught me to knit - found this pattern on a knitting web site and made a couple for us. You can actually scrub things with it(!) and it doesn't get slimy as fast as regular dishcloths do! (don't you hate that!) I'll try to figure out how to post a picture of it soon, but here is the directions for now! Materials:Sugar and Cream yarn(any color) Size 6 or 7 needles (I used 7) Instructions: Cast on 4 stitches ROW 1: Knit 4 ROW 2: Knit 2, yarn over, knit across Repeat ROW 2 until you have 44 stitches on needle ROW 3(after 44 stitches): Knit 1, knit 2 together, yarn over, knit 2 together, knit across. Repeat ROW 3 until you have 4 stitches on the needle. You can now either bind off, or do a round of single crochet and make a little loop of chain stitches in one corner so you can hang cloth to dry when you are finished using it. Have fun! Serving my Savior, Faith <>< |

Faith, You will need to "upload" your picture online at a hosting site, for instance a free, online, photo album or a free website provider is a great place to host your pictures. You can now insert the image in your post. You'll need to click "Add Reply" so you can post a message. I hope this helps answer your question! I look forward to seeing your picture! Blessings!! Faith, Thank you for sharing that pattern with us!! I have made ONE dishcloth, but it was for a gift, so I would love to make more for my hope chest!! I haven't knitted in awhile, but maybe I'll give this a try. I do have that yarn I need to use up...
