Werecaines, werefelines and vampires had been growing in great numbers since 2006. The humans of the world mostly paid no heed; some thought the rumors of uprisings and attacks from these 'creatures' to be nothing but nonsense. The government covered any attacks and hid the fact that these creatures were infact real.... and on the rise in places all over the world.
Finally, it happened -- the great war in 2010; Werefelines, Werecaines and Vampires merged together to defeat and drive out the humans from multiple cities in America. Their attack was unexpected and extremely successful. Many humans were killed, but those who could, escaped and leaked into hiding. The world was in dark disarray.
Years passed... and with those years, came tensions. The three races began to bicker and fight amongst themselves, each wanting more control. More territory. Thus, in 2019, another war was raged; this time, Werefelines verses Werecaines verses Vampires. Each race suffered it's own losses and gains. Following the battle in Times Square, each race retreated to an area in New York City. The Werecaines claimed most of the Upper & Middle Manhattan section.... The Werecaines claimed Lower Manhattan as their own.... and the Vampires took to Brooklyn. There are some areas in New York which still remain as neutral ground -- mostly various fights and scrapings take place.
Now, in the year 2023, fights and battles still take place; Times Square being more or less ground zero. Each race survives on their own, torturing and teasing the others. Humans, though coming to their own demise and extinction, still survive.... running and hiding, occasionally banning together and errupting a fight against the werecaines, werefelines or vampires.
