In the darkness do I fight, Swords flying in the air, The darkness of night, Sends them all to the light The army is no more, Men are dying everywhere, Our pride we no longer bore, Now written as ancient lore My home grows near, Small children wait, As I enter through the rear, I do love to have them here. I fought well, So I will admit, But as my friends fell, Enemies were put in hell. A deathly hiss, It whispers to me, Beckoning me to its kiss God help me, the painful bliss His arms are cold, Embraced by death, The stench of mold, Smells by far too old, Blood, it comes from me, Heating the coldness, That has consumed he, Yet, it will not come to thee Red, it runs down, Drowning my humanity, Killing me now, The light harbors thou. The deal is sealed, Forever embracing me, To the cold meal, Which is quite real Though he is gone, Dead by day, He left me as his spawn, Feeding before dawn, Hiding from the light, In a coffin of silver, I dare not take a deathly plight, Walking only in the night I am great, My powers are so vast, You cannot hate, For it is too late Men know that I Am, Coming into the church, As they face they damned, I kill them, with a slam. The numbers grow, As the vast years past, More so then crows Who gather round hoes At last, centuries after, Many young men, Faced much disaster, When they heard my laughter Red flames burned bright And I was ready for death When they came during light They sealed my fate, though my might It burned oh so much, The heat grew fast, Spreading past my nightly lunch Until my hands could not punch Ashes that was once whole Now scattered round. A Burning coal, Had taken a wonderful toll. To hell I went, I did see my monstrous maker Who could not repent For the damage he had lent. Ever Silent, Ever Wandering SilantWanderer |
