Marys27 Posts: 1200 (11/7/02 8:29 am) Reply	*A quick one!! i have a doctors appt. today to see if my bone is fusing together well or not. A month ago, he said there is a very noticable line. He was pretty concerned with that. So if anyone reads this before 10:30am (UGH!! I procrastinated!!) please pray that the bone is healing to his expectations! I dont want another surgery, but if I have to I will. I was really upset about that possibility, and was reminded by God that He wont put on us more than we can bear. Gotta love Him!!! ---His mercy endureth forever!

You are right of course, that God knows what we can take, and even more, I believe that He only allows the degree of suffering that is necessary for whatever He is doing with our heart. But if it were up to me, I would just let you haesome pain-free peace for a while! I am praying for you. God bless you! Marys27 Posts: 1201 (11/7/02 2:43 pm) Reply	Re: *A quick one!! Ok, Just got back. I've been anxious about todays doctor visit for the past month. I had 2 more x-rays today and the bone is finally growing back together!! Its a huge improvement from last month. I'm so happy If you hold your arm straight, that would be (should be) 0 degrees. The straightest my arm is right now is at 32 degrees. He said most mobility is gained within 6 months following surgery. I have 3 more months to go before I hit the end of that time frame. He'd like to see me gain 15 more degrees by then. Id like to see my arm be able to be completely straight again. We'll see. I also had a test done to see how strong a grip I have. My left hand can squeeze up to 85 lbs. My right hand (im right handed) can squeeze 43 lbs. So, my homework for the next 6 weeks is stretching, strengthing, mobility, and confidence. The last sounds silly, but you have to understand for the last 23 yrs I've had to baby my arm. And even more so the last year. So I gotta break habits, let my arm stretch to being uncomfortable, but right before its pain. So thats my latest update Thanks for the prayers everyone!!
