A whole new world
Isabel Izumi heard a thud as she hit the ground and a second later as Motimon followed suit. Her backback, luckily, had cushioned her fall but the little pink digimon had not been so lucky. He sat up and rubbed his back a little but the pain wasn't severe.
"Glad I'm a blob," Motimon commented to Isabel as she sat up beside him and took him into her arms.
"Looks like school really is good for something," a voice said from behind her and Isabel whirled around, startled at the voice.
"Dan!" she said and a smile spread across her face. Sure all the kids had gathered around together, digivices held out in front of them, but Isabel had been doubtful that they would all end up together. There were others within view, all sitting up now, but Isabel counted not even half of those who had been sucked into the vortex. She wondered if the others were farther away or if they had landed somewhere different altogether.
"I sure am glad I have my computer with me," Isabel said, sighing in relief as she got it out. "My dad e-mailed me a map and it should show most of this continent. I think we'll be able to find our way out of the desert with it," she replied, starting up the computer and waiting for it to load.
"I sure hope so, I'm hungry and I think Tanemon's getting thirsty," Dan said, holding the tiny plant digimon in his arms. She looked extremely hot and her leaves ached for water.
"You work with the 'puter Izzy, I'll go see who else is here," Dan Tachikawa told her but, just as her father, she was too involved in her computer to even notice. She certainly didn't see Dan roll his eyes at her as he left and knelt down beside the closest kids.
"Hey, I'm Dan Tachikawa, Mimi's son," Dan said, "Oh yah and this is Tanemon," he added as the drooping digimon made a little moan. "Are you okay?" he asked, realizing for the first time that is own head hurt a little.
TBC-Madi, J.D., Taylor, Wyatt (and Percy since he's reserved at the moment I believe).

Madi moaned slightly, sitting up. Tsunomon was sleeping on her lap.
"Lazy butt," she muttered, picking him up and carrying him under her arm. She then noticed Isabel and Dan.
"Well... there are friends of ours Tsuno-kun..." she mumbled, walking foreward.
"HEY! DAN! YOUUUUUUHOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
Madi stopped, searching for the source of the voice. It was Taylor. Of course. Just like her mother, loud, noisy, and stubborn.

Dan and Tanemon both looked startled at the loud yelling and even Isabel looked up from her computer for a moment. It took only a moment to realize where the sound came from though and Dan let out a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding. He's been worried for a moment that some angry digimon was after them and was glad to see that it was just Taylor. She was three years older than he was but he still knew her a little, after all, their moms had been friends.
"Hi Taylor," Dan said more quietly than her. Despite having Mimi for a mother he was actually rather quiet.
Isabel wasn't anti-social like her father had been and she turned to greet the two other digidestined. "Hi guys," Isabel said with a wave. "I think if I can just figure out this map I can lead us to water."

Taylor smiled, hugging Dan.
"Good ta see ya!"
Madi blinked, edging over to Isabel.
"...Water huh? Seems like our digimon need it..."
Poromon was atop Taylor's head, sweating heavily. Tsunomon was still asleep, and he didn't seem to mind the heat.

J.D. was walking by with Tokomon. He noticed the other people. He did not say anything but slowly walked towards them. He was walking straight forward not really any expression on his face or any particualr manerism in his walk or body. Tokomon said "Should we go help them?" J.D. nodded yes. When they reached the others Tokomon spoke but J.D. was silent "Hi there!"

"Hey cousin," Madi said, smiling, "And how are you on this fine digital day?"
She smiled broadly. Taylor noticed the other younger boy and squeeled.
"Oooooooo!"
"More noise... make it stop..." Poromon said silently.

J.D. waves slightly hi. Tokomon smiled "She is your cousin? You have family here? Thats so great." J.D. just shrugged. He was looking over to the others "Who are they?" in a serious low tone.

"Hi," said Dan quietly as he greeted J.D. Silently he was hoping no one else would arrive just so Taylor's screeching would stop. Unlike his mother, who surely would have, he kept silent about his true feelings though.
"I'm Dan Tachikawa, Mimi's son and this is Tanemon," Dan said, glancing over at Tanemon. She was still drooping but sat on his head, her favourite position.
Isabel by now had figured out that the screeching meant a new arrival and turned swiftly from her computer towards the newcomer.
"Wow you guys are cousins? That's neat. Dan and I are friends from school. I'm Isabel by the way but you can call me Izzy if you want, everyone else does," the computer kid said with a friendly smile.
Beside her Motimon nodded. "I'm Motimon," he announced although it was really unneeded.

J.D. looked ay Izabel with a soft voice replied "It is a pleasure to meet you Izabeal." Tokomon smiled widely "Hi." J.D. looked everyone over. "Also nice to meet you Daniel." He assumed that was what Dan was short for.

Madi threw Tsunomon into Taylor before she could finish. The small digimon's eyes blinked open, and he looked around for a moment.
"... What happened?" he asked drozily, then went backt to sleep immediatly. Madi sighed with relief.
"Sorry... Taylor... please... you're too loud and noisy..."

"Good day cousin." He was growing somewhat impatient because he wanted to find someplace with shade to rest since he had been wandering for sometime.
Valin came running towards them smiling with Salamon in hand. "Oh my goodness I cant believe it I found other people. I'm Valin and I am so glad to see you all."
Taylor was about to say something, but Madi smacked her on the head.
"Best to shut up for now," she said. Taylor growled angrily at Madi.
"Don't tell me what to do!"

Isabel smiled over at the new arrival. "Wow we just keep coming," she said, more to herself than to anyone. "Nice to meet you, I'm Isabel."
Dan nodded his greetings too, silently quite glad that someone was keeping Taylor under control. "I'm Dan," he said, holding out his hand as taught. Tanemon groaned as she wobbled a little on Dan's head and hoped that she would get water soon.
(OOC: I'm just gonna give everyone another chance to post if they want to make aquaintences then we'll be on the move and have a digimon encounter.)

A young girl with dark brown hair waved hyperly, a small digimon that looked like it would fall into its hat in her arms. "HEYAH!" She shouted, running up to the other kids.
"It's been such a long time since I've seen other kids here!" The girl exclaimed, brushing her hair out of her face. Her hair was cut oddly short, which was strange for a girl. "Oh! Yeah, by the way, my name's Tammie!"
There was another kid behind her. He had raven black hair, and startling green eyes that shown passion for leadership and aggression. Despite the look in his eyes, he had a slight smile on his face.
Floating next to the boy was a strange looking critter - he had wings for ears, and would flap them every so often.
"Yeah, I agree," The boy added, in a distinct british accent. "It's been quite a while."
(OOC: Hope that's okay. Kinda out of practice for roleplaying.)

Taylor noticed the others, and couldn't hold it in anymore.
"HI! NEW PEOPLE!"
She ran forward to shake the new arrival's hands.
"Hello... hi! I'm Taylor!"
"I'll be your talking idiot for today," Madi mumbled. Taylor whirled around.
"I heard that."
Madi blinked, staring over at Izzy.
"I didn't hear anything..."

J.D. Stood looking at the new arrivals not changing his mood or outward expression. Tokomon came forward "Hi. I'm Tokomon and this J.D."
Valin looked at the new comers and looked happy "Oh my I am so happy to see so many new faces. Nice to meet you all I Valin. This is Salamon."
OOC: This is wierd playing someone who is quite and distant and someone who is sociable and energetic at the same time.

"Hiyah Taylor!" Tammie exclaimed, shaking the other girl's hand hyperly and really fast. She continued to do that until she got tired then let go, a big smile on her face.
"Hiyah Valin!" Tammie said, repeating the same gesture. She waved hyperly to J.D, figuring he probably wouldn't want her to shake his hand hyperly like the others.
"You'll have to excuse her," Rubumon said, blinking and making a weird face. "She's stupid like meeeee--" With that comment, Tammie delivered a swift kick at the digimon.
"Ouch!" Rubumon said.
"Yah deserved it," Tammie told him. Rubumon stuck his tongue out at her. This whole time, the other boy just shook his head. The in-training digimon beside him just blinked.
"...Rite. Anyways." The boy with the startling green eyes said. "My name is William. Yah can call me Billy though."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Dan and this is Tanemon," Dan said, offering his hand tenatively. Billy seemed alright but he wasn't entirely sure about Tammie. The last thing this group needed was another overly hyper person.
While he smiled politely Tanemon only moaned and Dan's smile faded a little. "You'll have to excuse her, she's kinda thirsty," he said. "Kinda?" Tanemon muttered. "My roots are shrivelling up like a raisin." Dan chose to ignore the last comment.
Isabel didn't achknowlege the new arrivals for a moment but after a yell of satisfaction she turned back to the group. "I'm Isabel but you can call me Izzy if you want," she said and turned her computer screen ti show everyone.
"See if we go this way I think we can get out of this desert within a few hours," Isabel explainned, a red line showing the route she has indicated. Isabel carefully stood and held her computer in front of her gently so that she could see the route as she walked. Intelligent as she was Isabel wasn't a natural leader and she merely pointed in the direction that they could go in and let others take over. Motimon sat on her shoulder, smiling at the thought of water as Isabel took the first steps and hoped everyone else would catch on.
Dan walked to where Isabel was and smiled over at her. "Come on guys, let's go get water," he said ethusiastically. He, for one, was more than ready to get out of this desert!

"How about some now, and then some when you get there later?" a voice asked. Teria appeared, carrying a few canteens.
"There's enough here for everyone if you let it last... when you get to where her directions lead, then you shall of course find more... but... her way is far too long... and you will run out of water before then... follow me... I promise only to lead you to water."
She smiled warmly, holding out a canteen towards Dan.
"Tanemon is a plant digimon and needs it more than the others as of now..."
She smiled.
"There is enough for everyone here."
Tsunomon stuck his tounge out at Teria. He knew her, but he hated her.
