i like the sound of the rain on the ridge vent (it's louder than on the regular roof) and since i have cable tv out here, i can watch morning tv and not wake Em, who isn't up yet.

I can see the clouds rolling in... yay! I can hardly wait for it to cool off a bit, though compared to most of y'all I don't have much to complain about.

There was just a huge clap of thunder that scared the crap out of me. This summer has really been about thunderstorms and pretty consistent rain. We had that heat wave that everyone else had earlier in the week, so at least this rain is cooling things down a bit.
