Dracan: Oh yes, I WILL try my luck!

(Dracan's arms changed into six dark blades, the kind that Deathclaws have. He follows through with the transformation, changing into something that IS a Deathclaw, but bigger and faster. He - it - seems to be grinning.)

Dracan: You are but an appetizer. The main course will come later! He will know when to come!

(He waits for her to do something, leering the whole time.)

Gilnor SeeD Posts: 99 (11/5/01 13:31)	Alexandria (OOC: This topic is sequel to the Tetra Disaster topic but since my browser isn't the fastest I prefer starting another topic after one reaches over 40 posts. I hope you don't mind Massacre) Exan looked at the stars and remembered the dream somehow. Something about that guy in the castlewall. The dream intrigued Exan and so he jumped off from the city walls towards the castle. He remembered the red eyes and mist somehow like shrouded in a mist. Exan jumped to the near rooftop and from there to the another until he was close at the castle. There he called a wind which raised him to the castle walls. He had done this dozens of times before and knew exactly what routes guards would move. He stopped and waited until one of the guards walked to another direction and then moved. He saw Zidane and that weird guy walking towards the castle. Exan jumped and used the wind again and landed in front of the two men startling them. Zidane took his Ultima Weapon and was about to attack but then relaxed. "Oh. It's just you Exan." Zidane said" Freya isn't in town right now." Exan had visited the castle often. Mainly to see Freya and ask her advice. Many didn't notice him but Zidane saw him coming and leaving the castle always. Maybe because he was a thief previously. In a time, Exan's visits in the castle became a regular phonemona. However Steiner was happily unaware of this. Exan looked at Jason and then Zidane until he started to speak. "Yes I know. I came here to talk with him" Exan pointed at Jason. (OOC: Sorry my bad english in this post. I hope everyone can understand it) " There are no such things as good and evil. Banishes the Ragna Blade and holds up her hands Danielle: DIEM WIND!! Smirks as the powerful blast of wind knocks Dracan into a wall. And just to get Zidane's attention, she lobs a full-power fireball at him, blowing up a good part of the town...and creating an inferno that everybody will be able to see Danielle: Damn, I should learn to control my spells better.

You destroyed the remaining walking statues easily" "Golems" Jason interrupted. "Whatever" Exan continued. "Then you came to this castle. And again, very easily. How did you do that? I can conjure weather to my aid, control winds and still coming inside these walls isn't easy." Exan said. Zidane also seemed to become more curious. Jason seemed extremely troubled. Before Jason had a change to answer a huge explosion in the city almost throw them off balance. "What now?" Exan growled" Why do they try to destroy this city?" Massacre The Darkgod SOLDIER First Class Posts: 50 (11/6/01 19:57)	Disaster! (Exan kept pressing Jason for answers he didn't want to give. Then the explosions came. Zidane immediately ran out to see what was going on. Steiner followed after him, his armor looking a little better now.) Steiner: WAIT FOR ME!! (Clank, clank.) Jason: They'll never make it in time! I've got to stop this before the whole city goes up in flames! (Neverminding Exan, Jason let loose his dark secret, the wings and tail of gargoylian creature. Exan was at a loss for words as Jason shot into the sky.) Jason: They were already on to me anyway. No hiding now... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Danielle was having more trouble with the mutant Deathclaw than she thought there'd be. It hadn't been hurt much by her magic. Something helped nullify a good deal of damage. Now it came at her, slashing and swiping all six arms expertly!)

Then, she comes up with an idea... Danielle: BLADE HAUT!! She slashes at Dracan, sending out energy that forces him back into the wall and blows up the remains of the wall behind him Danielle: I'm out of here! I can't beat this guy, I'll get killed! ESCAPE!! She disappears as the spell takes effect
Gilnor SeeD Posts: 104 (11/7/01 12:01)	You are the weather! Exan ran after Zidane and Rusty and climbed to the castle's walls. The city seemed to be in ruins. Some parts of it were in fire. Exan looked the devastation thinking sadly. "If I would be more powerful I could stop this" Then he heard a voice in his mind, a voice he had heard many times before. Of course you can stop this. Weather obeys you "But I am not that powerful" Exan whined. You are. You can do anything. Weather obeys your commands.You are the weather! Exan looked at the fires for a moment and then made his decision. He raised his both hands and called a wind which raised him to the air. He had never called a wind which would be powerful and stable enough to carry him before. His eyes were turned to solid dark blue again. He flied over the city and looked down. The flames were spreading rapidly. Exan pointed at the clouds and started to shout commands to the weather which helped him to concentrate on weather. "Wind, gather the dark clouds. Let the rain douse the flames" Rainclouds started to gather around Exan and big raindrops fall to the ground dousing the flames. Massacre The Darkgod SOLDIER First Class Posts: 52 (11/7/01 22:20)	The fires are out, but not the causes. ("Deathclaw" Dracan shook off all of the rubble his body had collected.) Dracan: And to think, I hardly caused any real damage. It was that mercenary. Kind of ironic... (Jason landed nearby, his sword drawn.) Dracan: So that's the secret! Jason: What the... (He never expected a Deathclaw to speak, let alone even EXIST on this world. This wasn't even the same kind, but a hideous mutant!) Dracan: Well, I don't need to be here any longer. My quarry fled and I'm not yet ready for you. Not yet. (Dracan became human again, snickering the whole way. Then he vanished. Jason turned around and began to leave, but he sensed something. He still was not alone here. A low trilling sound could be heard from a dark alley. Suddenly, a tough-looking creature with wings flew at him at a kamekaze approach. Jason swung his sword hard into the beast, cutting it to pieces. It was a Valron, another monster out of place. After everything was over, though, Jason had a small problem. People began to come out of hiding and saw what he was really like. He heard mumbles from the crowd. Some things that popped up were "What is that thing?" and "Someone had better call the guards on this one." The crowd was starting to get ugly. They thought he was some kind of monster. Not too far from the truth... Jason was sure they'd attack, but he didn't want to hurt them.) "We could kill anyone once."

Massacre The Darkgod SOLDIER First Class Posts: 54 (11/7/01 23:28)	Oh man... Jason: We're surrounded by an angry mob and she asks where the power-hungry Deathclaw went. That's just great... (Before the crowd can get into some kind of riot, Zidane and Steiner arrive on the scene. However, when they see Jason, they're as awe-struck as the rest of the crowd.) Zidane: He wasn't kidding about those wings. When I heard from No. 128 about this kid, I thought he'd taken too many Ethers. But no, he was right. Steiner: I don't like the looks of this. Who are we suppose to defend from who? Zidane: Let's just get the people away from here. I'm still not sure what to make of this. EVERYBODY CLEAR OUT! (The people pf Alexandria move on and start picking up the pieces of buildings along the way. Zidane and Steiner get in closer to Jason. Steiner casts a suspicious glance toward Danielle.) Jason: You don't think I'm a monster...do you? Zidane: Naah. Even after what you told me, I still think you're okay in my book. I've been through something like that. He's fine, Steiner. Steiner: Good. Zidane: Was this the kind of thing you were talking about before? Jason: Yes. Zidane: This is pretty serious. Steiner, you may have to wake up Beatrix. Steiner: In the middle of the night?! She'll kill me for sure!!
Gilnor SeeD Posts: 107 (11/8/01 14:31)	Landing Exan ended the concentration of the rain and prepared to land when he noticed someone or something flying towards him. He evaded it just in time when the creature tried to rush him. Exan looked at the creature and he had to admit that this was the strangest one he had ever encountered. The monster was yellow, it was sphereformed, had one large eye and two large wings(OOC: I don't remembers it's real name so I call it the Cyclopsbird. Its in FF7 and in FF9. In FF9 in Ipsen's castle and in FF7 in the northern crater) Exan called the wind and started to concentrate on the weather. Meanwhile Steiner was running towards the castle to his death (going to wake up Beatrix) and Zidane and Jason was talking in the street. Some dust started to move down the street they were standing at. Then papers from the ground raised to air and flied past Zidane. Zidane:"Geez. Where did this breeze come from" Just when Zidane said that, an enourmous flash brightened the sky. Zidane and Jason looked up and saw dozen lighting bolt hit Exan and united to one bolt which hit the Cyclopsbird. The monster burned badly and fell to the ground near Zidane and Jason. Exan landed from the sky lighting sparkling around him. When he touched the ground and his eyes turned to normal he almost collapsed. He leaned heavily to Obelisk. Exan:"I am not going to be defeated by some Cyclopsbird!" Jason and Zidane just stare at him and then the burned Cyclopsbird. " There are no such things as good and evil. You think you could help out with whatever's going on here, Exan? Jason: Whatever's been happening so far is just a game to this guy. I don't know what he is, but he's trouble.

I have no idea of where these creatures come from but as long as I live I will protect Alexandria from them" Zidane nodded. Exan almost fell and was forced to sit on a fallen stone colum. Exan: "Damn I'm tired. I have never summoned such a weather. I need rest or atleast" he added dryly "an Ether" In the same time a dark figure jumped from roof to roof and landed near Zidane who startled. Freya (the dark figure): "I knew that I would find you in the middle of these troubles" Freya was looking at Zidane.I came to seek for your help my friends. Burmecia is being invaded by some strange creatures we have never seen before. We fought against them but we were forced to retreat to Lindblum." (OOC: Massacre. I hope that you don't mind if I mixed Freya and Burmecia into this mess. I can alway alter my messages if it conflicts with the grand plan.) " There are no such things as good and evil. Exan had discovered he was hiding something, then he'd had no choice but to unleash his true nature, and after that the townspeople were looking to kill him.) Jason: They thought I was some kind of monster...but I'm not! Yes you are. Jason: Shut up! Don't you understand yet? Once changed, there is no going back. You belong to me, now. And soon, I will have you. Jason: No you won't! Try and stop me... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dracan: A boy with immense power of good, yet a dark past. Very strange...

Although she acted like she didn't notice what he was, she did, and it bothered her. So, she decides to go mind-diving ^_^ Danielle: ...That's odd. This young man's mind is hard to move around. Huh? Who are you!?!? AAAAHHHHH!!! Danielle gets out of Jason's mind as fast as she could, because she met SOMETHING in there that didn't like her presence, something dark and evil... Danielle: Just what IS that boy??

He opened the window and jumped to the next roof and there to the another until he arrived to the destructed area. There he stopped to watch the scene. Queen Garnet and Steiner were examining damages. Some merchant was going to his shop only notice that it doesn't exist any more. Few groups of citizens talking about the strange events. Exan shook his head, sighed and headed to the castle. He arrived to the castlewall, glanced around and ran to the castle. "I might find Freya, Zidane or at least Jason in the castle. Especially Jason should know something about the strange events happening in the world" Exan thought while evading few guards who were running to their posts.
