Amateur here...
Hi everyone!

I'm in my 30ites and recently decided that I was going to attempt to teach myself how to draw. I have looked through many forums and such and I don't see anything for amateur's or at least older amateur's. My sketches would look mighty funny next to the more experience or talented artist. Is there anyway a group could be created for us old beginners? Thanks for reading and I look forward to learning from all of you!

Hi, Chelle!

I'm in the same situation - and older newbie, just discovering this stuff now. Although I'm getting immense satisfaction from learning to draw, I too find the art from the experienced artists very impressive and quite daunting! I don't know if there are enough of us to create a forum from the looks of the dates on many of the posts, but it would be fun to keep in touch if you would like to.

I am a newbie too and am shy about sharing my drawings. Are there any other forums out there that are more active or can a thread be made here just for adult beginners?
