Another New Guy...
Hello All!

It's nice to find a RR board!
I currnetly own a 1968 RR, silver/black vinyl top, light blue interior, 383, auto, light package, road wheels. It has 94k original miles. I'm in the process of fixing the minor rust now..
(lower corners of the rear glass, small holes in both rear quarters) paint is worn and the 34 year old vinyl is gone. The rest is Mint! I got it from the orignal owner who
saw the commercial with the girls in miniskirts back in '68 and went out and ordered one. It had been sitting for 6 years under a tree in his yard. New battery, oil change, fresh fuel, new plugs, and the beast fired right up!

I also have a 70 GTX clone, 440, auto. (it was a 318 satellite).

Re: Hey barry..
Lakengrief! You would have been there when I was deployed to RAF Sculthorpe (we called it a much more colorful name) in 1988 with the 463rd Tac Airlift Wing from Dyess, Tejas.
Where were you in intel? I retreaded into comm in 1988... was assigned to Skivvy Nine (6903d ESG) at Osan a few years ago. Now at HQ USAFE. Two words...it sucks:( 5 more years til I wear civvies. Testing for Master next week.

Re: Another New Guy...
Osan is a pretty good assignment if you're a Tech or better. I had it good and loved it there but then again I had my Z-28 and I lived off-base. Spent 15 months there just so I could come here to Germany...big mistake. I should have stayed at Osan or gone back to Yokota. Skivvy Nine was okay, but I'm an E&I comm troop and Intel treats some of their comm folks like bastard step-children.
