Hi Art,
Click the link to check out some pics. My hy Brother in law has owned this car for ove 12 years (thats how long I've known him) but it has never been on the road in all that time. He really likes the car and won't part with it, believe me I've tried!!! Anyway he is planning on passing it down to his son someday (he about 12 now) I rebuilt the motor about 5 years ago. Its a 383 4 speed car, and it was a 1/4 milecar before he got it. I know it has some low gears but I'm not sure on the ratio. I told my brother in law that when it leaves my lace he has to get it legal and drive it home, in hopes of him driving it and enjoying it some. We will see on that one.

Helllllooooo John,
Welcome to the RR site. Looked at your pics, looks like you have your work well in hand. How were the rear window corners? it's unusual to see the rear panel that bad with out the corners being wasted as well. I had to replace both the corners and the panel in my 70.
ONce again Welcome aboard.

Re: Another d#@& newbie!!!!
The drivers side corner was bad but the passengers side wasn't too bad. I took that picture after some grinding in the channel area, it didn't look that bad before I started checking it out in search of good metal. The new panel is installed now but I've focused my concentration to the engine bay. The engine bay is painted now and ready for the motor to go back in. My digital camera broke so I don'tknow if I'm going to be able to update for a while, but progress is being made.
