 Audition Thread
OK, I'm starting on the second stage of the audition process. There will be three scenarios available for you to choose from. Please respond to one of the following scenarios with your new character after you have created your profile. Start a new thread with the number of the scenario, your character's name and your player name.
1) Professor Swarbrick and DADA
Professor Swarbrick strode into the DADA classroom, his long emerald wizard's robes billowing behind him, and perched on the edge of the desk at the front of the room. He surveyed the new class in front of him with a smile and a twinkle from behind his glasses. His tanned skin glowed with health, and his hair shone in the soft overhead lighting of the classroom.
'Good morning. My name is Professor Swarbrick. I am your new Defence teacher. There are only a few rules in my class. The first, and most important, is to respect me at all times. You will be dealing with some dangerous spells this year, and I expect you to pay attention to what I am saying. It will keep you safe, and prevent accidents.'
Professor Swarbrick paused to swallow a little water from the glass on his desk. He pushed his glasses absently further up his nose and carried on,
'Secondly, I expect you all to pay attention and become knowledgable about Defence. If you do your homework, you will be able to learn your spells so that you can perform them almost instinctively. Anyone slacks on their homework, I will know about it.'
His ever-roving eyes caught sight of a student whispering behind their hand to a neighbour of theirs.
'Stand up! You, there! What have you to say for yourself? Didn't you hear what I was just saying?'
The professor's eyes, a cobalt blue, had turned steely and cold as he glared at the student.
