Awakening eyes When you first awoke (became) did you see things differently? I know I felt and saw things differently... It is hard to explain.... Anyone else? Meaning your eyes look different or you see things diffrently? Edited by: NightAngel of Darkness at: 3/19/02 10:09:17 am |

I know this is for vampires, but I figured that I would comment anyway.
I know since I've awakened, I have seen this different. My eyes sees things different. I was thinking this very thing this morning as I was crossing the bridge at my school, looking out upon the trees and plants that surrounded me. I could see the life the lived inside them, between them... I have noticed this for quite some time... since November of 2000. I didn't realize it, but I think that was when my awakening began... Awakened Eyes Indeed Reznor. It is rather sad to think that humans miss this beauty that we seem to pay attention to. It is not only sad but amazing that it took, for some, our awakening to see the beauty around us, the life around us. |

Re: Awakened Eyes Well, my awakening I think has been a little different than I image an awakening being. I have always been like this, always been what I really. I had an absolutely incredible experience back Nov. 2000, where it was like a vail had been lifted from my eyes. I had always loved nature though... and I have always had a thing for animals who hunt like sharks, hawks, tigers, wolves, along with Orcas and dolphins for the grace and intelligence but my connection to nature was nothing compared to then. I will admit though that over the last couple of months (and I have to give a lot of credit to one individual because she really helped me move along in my awakening), I am becoming more and more sensitive to the nature around me. It is an incredible feeling being able to stand within it, feel the life flowing through you, and all around you. I feel rather blessed for my awakening... I feel a lot more... whole. awakening? *sighs* I always knew...I always saw it. When it was time for my awakening...i did infact see things a little clearer. The colors were brighter and the world looked a little different to me. i felt a very strong connection with the earth and with beings of higher then our selves. Another thing...is that I now....don't like going passed a graveyard. there are souls there that are lost. And I hear them....and a new soul in the grave....feels so alone. It is something that i will never say that I don't like having, because i do. The world is different and yet it is the same. i guess those are the best words to use. I hope that i answer the question a little better then I think I did. I'm kinda unsure of if i said enough...or if i said too much. Alas, i will find out later i know. Amatite

Re: awakening? I understand what you mean about things being different yet the same. With myself, as I mentioned, I have always felt 'connected' to nature, but it wasn't like it is now. I think that it is a good thing, but once your learn and grow, you can't go back. I struggle with my sympathy for humanity. Humans are so... ruthless to each other, and I think it is pathetic and unfortunate. I feel sorrow for the way the earth is being used up... and I feel contempt for those who are to blind to recognize the world they live in, and lack the appreciation and respect they should give it. As for graveyards... *wicked grin* I can't help but feel drawn to them. I am sure it is different vampires than daemons, (which is why I don't feel completely right in talking in this forum in general for I am not a vampire, but I thought I would at least try and help get conversation start) but I am not sure why I am drawn to cemetaries... why they hold such fascination for me, or why I appear to enjoy them so much. Definitely something to think about... Ametite, I am really glad that you are posting and adding your comments. So many log on and never have anything to say, or they only rp, which is fine.... but there is a lot more to life and our existence that role playing. So, I wanted to extend my thanks... and of course I do the same to Night who relentlessly keeps the board running. Yes, indeed I myself had undergon odd sensations during my own awakening... I do remember a large vast change around the time that I had turned 16... Why this age I do not know but I still can feel the open and clean feeling of my awakening. An odd feeling as if I had been cleaned... The dust washed way so I could see a new world. |

Re: Yes, indeed Wow, that sounds like quite the experience. Maybe we all remember our awakening like that. I still remember the day I first began to awaken (although I didn't know that was what was happening)... where I was, what I was doing... and the incredible sensation that followed. What were either of you doing when you first began to awaken? Do you remember where you were? |

What were the first changes you began to notice? Was it something you began to see, something you began to feel? Wow, if you were 16, then you began to awaken quite a bit younger than I.

I was 23 when I first began to truly awaken... Do you remember any particular event early on that sort of, opened your eyes to what was going on? Like your awakening has ended... and you are able to move to the next part of your existence?
