rom6 Registered User Posts: 72 (8/25/02 1:08 pm) Reply	Back to School The re-alignment of our schools seems to be going smoothly so far in the lower grades. But what about the traffic mess around the new high school?! My daughter says it's quite an adventure both morning and afternoon. Comments in the newspaper seem to indicate that student drivers are causing the congestion. Nonsense. It's poor planning by the developers in allowing for only one entrance/exit. What were they thinking??

There was talk at one time of cutting 3rd street through, but the people who live there did not want the traffic in their neighborhood which is understandable. I hope something is worked out before there is a very bad accident on Hwy. 35.
cmsd Unregistered User (8/30/02 9:57 am) Reply	Back To School There were accidents in the school parking lot on the first day. There will be a big accident on 35 before this gets straightened out. And what about the kids that are having to park across the highway? I have neices and nephews that go to school in BCISD but we made the decision to transfer our kids to Van Vleck this year. The difference has been tremendous.
