Thought the writers really failed Liz in this episode. She had shown such strength of character, but then the writers had her act so weak and confused. Yet she still showed up in Michael's vision of the 5 friends. So was she in the pentagon of healing or not? There just didn't seem to be enough justification for Max's "step back." The ending seemed forced and false.

I completely agree, Kaycm!! It took Max and Liz forever to get together, and she suddenly just accepts that he needs to find his 'balance'??? Blah!!! She should have called him on his lame excuses. It just makes Max look completely masochistic, like he doesn't believe that he deserves to be happy, and that can get old after a while.
And Michael's contacts...interesting! I saw some bloopers a long time ago where Jason and Katherine were trying to carry Michael upstairs and kept falling down and laughing. I wonder how long it took them to get serious for those scenes.
And if Nasedo can be brought back to life by those stones, does that mean the pod squad can too? Or just healed if they're sick?

I just LOVE your episode introductions!! Especially this one!
I do agree with you about the writers on this ep. And I've never really understood the reason why Liz was still in Michael's 'vision' even though she stepped back from the circle and the healing.
Still can't believe that WE MADE IT!! 0 days to go! We are all about to step into a whole other dimension with the new season starting. Lord, I'm so glad that I live on the East coast. I'll be one of the lucky ones to see it first!
Don't forget to double check your VCR's recording ability........
There are two theories I've heard about this, and I think I agree with the second one more.
First, while Michael was being healed, he saw everyone as friend, lover, whatever...perhaps he also views Liz as a friend and included her in the vision even though she didn't help with the healing.
Second... Michael hugged Isabel, kissed Maria, shook hands with Alex...touch was involved in all of these encounters. Yet when he was about to hug/shake hands with Max, Liz distracted Max. You can see him turn away from Michael and look to Liz. Michael and Max end up never touching in the circle. I think subconsciously, Michael viewed Liz as kind of taking Max away from him.
