Battle rages...normal time flow

Lance was about to go and bang his head on the wall too. A strange woman arrives in the most dangerous place on Gaia and acts like she is in somekind of holdiday. This just wasn't his day.

The undead continued their journey towards the ancient ruins of Oilvert.

Are you interested in Tempest's FF7 storyline? ) The Imps were halted their attack when they faced the resistance Zen and others had put up. Nightmare didn't look happy either. In fact it never looked happy but now it looked even more unhappy if that's possible. It walked graciously closer and breathed fire. Lance evaded just in time not burning into dust. Lance:"Holy...! That thing is dangerous." The imps and Nightmare attacked again Imps trying to steal the wand and Nightmare trying to burn them. However the wand of sunlight sended rays of light which hit the imps making them vanish. Though Nighmare was still there breathing fire on them. Lance evaded once more and casted Thunder on the beast. Strangely the weak spell had some effect. The beast shuddered in pain but it seemed to heal fast. Apparaently lightning was the thing that hurted it. The problem was that Lance couldn't cast strong enough Thunder. " There are no such things as good and evil. If it weren't an ancient beast of hell Lance would have found it strange for a horse to roar. Apparaently the beast was blinded for a second and the heroes moved little further away from it. The wound thundara had caused to Nightmare healed in mere seconds. The beast shook it's head and looked Zen with hatred and evil flickering in it's eyes. In that moment the memory hit Lance. The book he had found in the library. It had a picture...metal bars around the creature and lightning hitting them. Lance:"We have to kill it with one shot. Zen, remember the metal bar thing? They can be used to multiply the power of Thundara." " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view"

Shanya leapt at Nightmare, slashing at its head, neck, and flanks with scythe-bladed claws. "YOU MADE THOSE IMPS! I HATE IMPS!!!" she yelled as she continued her berserker assault. Shanya's attacks are blocked easily as the Nightmare suddenly changes to a misty form and every hit Shanya delivers does as much damage as punching fog. Lance looked around quickly to search something metal. He noticed a iron fence around a small dead garden. Lance:"To the garden everyone." They run to the garden and indeed noticed that it was fenced with a heavy iron fence. Apparaently it's owner had been very suspicious. Nightmare turned back to its physical form and approached the garden. It was weary of the trap but master's orders were driving it forward anyway. As it entered the garden after them Lance started to cast Thunder on the iron fence.

The bright light of the spell penetrated the dark spririt of Nightmare and it was totally incinerated and as the lightning died out so did the beast. (OOC: Level UP Your character gets more spells and more strenght. I take a new trance form: Galian Beast.) IC:> Now that the dangerous beast had been defeated the trio had first time the chance to look around them. The stars were showing and the moon didn't look blurred anymore. Removing the wand from the clock had returned the city's time flow to normal. The three adventurers wandered to the place where Lance and Zen encountered Nightmare the first time. Now the place was deserted and silent expect for some strange voices coming near. Checking the source of the voice was a forge. Some undead were making tools and machine parts. Now that the time had been returned to normal the sounds of the city could be heard clearly. Around the city sounds of metal clashing, wood being sawed could be heard clearly now. Lance:"They are building. But what?" Some undead really were building parts and other were carrying them. A group of four undead was carrying large wooden crates full of strange metal parts. Forgetting the undead, she walked up to him and watched him for a while before speaking. "Why're you banging your head against the wall? Doesn't that hurt? Shanya is happily following an undead patrol, Zen is getting a headache and Lance is looking everything with a grim look. But let's get away from the heroes and let's go to the palace of the main villain located on top of the Ancient ruins. Palace of night ( A tall muscular man wearing a black robe stood behind a wooden desk examining blueprints. He had looked them quite a time now. Over 2 years actually. Two years. But these are the final hours. Now the only thing that bothers me is the three wanderer. His thoughts were interrupted as another being flied to the room. The tall man didn't turn to look at the creature just stared at the blueprints. Creature:"Nightmare has been vanquished." Black Robe:"Really? Impressive but I cannot afford any interruptions. Kill them Chaos." The creature appeared to smile and flied away. The man in the black robe sighed and glanced at the blueprints again. Soon it will be finished. The Invincible. Suddenly it became totally black. The trio stopped their pursue and glanced around. The buildings seemed to have vanished. Zen's Oracle staff was giving light to the black area. Then a winged figure descended from the blackness into the light. It resembled Diablos a bit but looked far more ancient. Lance:"Chaos. So my no-good brother lost control." Chaos:"His mind was weak and his hatred and vengeance strenghened me. It was easy to take over. But enough of this. You have been ordered to be eliminated. Chaos wanted to douse the Oracle staff so he casted Thundaga on Zen whose Shell took most of the punishment. " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view"

Unfortunately it also blinded everyone. ..................Few minutes pass................ Soon their vision started to return and Chaos glances at them in hatred. Chaos:"Sunlight won't harm me." Lance:"But you don't like it either." Chaos didn't say anything to this just glared them evilly. Then he suddenly took altitude and threw a demi ball towards the heroes. Apparaently Shanya's attack rush hadn't had any effect on the demon. " There are no such things as good and evil. These things depends of our point of view"

(Zen the Mighty was also Zen the Unbelievably Couragious. He casts Float on himself and hovers to Chaos' altitude.) Zen: Say hello to my leetle friend. (And suddenly, Zen is whipping the Oracle Staff around like a Kung Fu expert, whacking Chaos hard in the head!) Zen: Ho! Aha! Dodge parry, spin, thrust! OOC: An adventurer...and a lover of cartoons. It was running here few years ago but I missed the two lasts episodes and I have no idea how the series ended. Rayearth has kinda sad story) Chaos gets hit by the Oracle staff but recovers quickly. Then they all stop when they hear a really surprising sound....Lance was laughing. Lance:"It's just so funny...haha. sorry...family matter." To Zen and Shanya he looked like he was getting mad but then as suddenly as he began to laugh he stopped it and looked the Chaos with his usual grim expression. Then he started to change. He turned into a purple, horned beast...into Galian Beast. He jumped behind the Chaos and kicked him heavily on the back sending the monster to examine the dirt from a close distance. Chaos got up and this time glared at Lance with open hatred. Chaos:You should know me. That puny demon can't defeat me. Lance:rasping voice Yes. I know you. You were a part of me for hundreds of years. I know your weaknesses. Zen, Shanya. Chaos is vulnerable to all forms of white magic. But don't use curative magic." The battlelust of the demon took control of Lance then and the humanity in his eyes was burrowed beneath the demon's glow. Galian Beast let out a loud roar and then attacked Chaos ripping clawing it. Chaos blocked his attacks and struct back which he managed to block. The demons continued to deal hits for each other. " There are no such things as good and evil.
