Re: Behind the Music
Wow, this one was really good.

* I thought Majandra did a wonderful job. You could almost feel her fear when Michael made the stuff fall off the shelves in the back room. Her emotional transition from the start of the ep to the end was wonderful.

* :lol at Maria grabbing Kyle by the collar. It reminded me of how you pick up a puppy when it is peeing on the carpet. :lol

* I also thought Jason did a fantastic job with Max's growing panic and paranoia. The very opening sequence, when all you can see are his eyes and his mouth, you get a clear understanding of how his father's investigation is devastating him. I was surprised that he flat-out told his father that he knew about it, though. The only way this one can end is if they come clean, I think.

* I knew Mr. E bought Isabel's story too quickly. He's really become the unlikely villian. Isabel's story was about 75% true, though.

* Why were Michael and Max burying that stuff? What happened to the pod chamber? Was it destroyed when Tess left?

* Okay, boys - there's no reason to categorize your CDs to any lower level than by artist. Metallica doesn't have that many CDs that you would need a sub-category. :lol I did, however, enjoy the fact that Michael put an end to the argument by asking Max if he still wanted to sleep on his couch. ;)

* Why would Michael think (hope?) Maria is bisexual...oh, maybe he saw her and Liz under that blanket...what were they doing under that blanket? Hmm, now I'm wondering :lol

* :lol at Isabel explaining to Jesse that they had to make love in every room! Especially when she started by saying the floor was too hard! :lol

* Ooo, they've found the jeep. :eek I think the investigator was hoping they'd find Tess's body in it. I can't think of anything damning they'll find.

Best Line: "You said you wanted to talk, which usually means you're going to kick my ass, so I brought some friends" :lol

I'll have to rewatch, but I really liked this one. I felt very bad for Michael at the end, and I've never been an M&M shipper. I thought they did a nice job of tossing in some scenes from S1 (Michael in the rain from ID, their first kiss) and S2 (the prom).

Re: Behind the Music
Wow this one was really good.. and it didn't even have any M/L "real" parts.. UNREAL...

I liked the conversation between Liz and Maria under the covers. Liz said she was committed to Max like in a "no matter what" way. That was good to hear.. not that she gave up her dreams (she wanted to be a bio-something... and she can still go to collage) but then again dreams change and... Max is her dream... (she knows what it is like with out him... and with him.. and she would rather be with him.) :)
This was a far better break up for M/M then for M/L To see Maria choosing something for HER.. Although.. I think she would feel a bit of guilt because Michael did stay behind for HER. Hmmmm this will be interesting. ;)
I loved Michael losing his control of his powers.. and when he wanted them... NOTHING..
MM I too felt Maria's fear when that stuff fell off the shelves. That was good.. more of a reality check.. A good story for her...

Iz coming up with that story.. I thought it was a good one. I believed it... :lol :lol

The song at the end was really a nice song... Just about could fit a lot of women! :) or men for that matter :)

I have to say... this was so much like season 1. The feeling. Mr E being like the FBI closing in, Max freaking out, Iz coming up with the story to cover, Micheal not caring about any of it.. just Maria.. HE HAS A HEART.. OMG! :) and M/M the relationship part. LOVED IT!!!!!

A goal is a dream with a finish line!! :)

Re: Behind the Music
Liked this one, too.

Karen you quoted my favorite line at the end of your post! :lol I laughed out loud at that one! I also laughed out loud at Jesse's "What did I just do?" when Isabel left him alone in the bathroom. :lol

* LOVED the scene with Michael/Maria/Liz/Kyle in the Crashdown!!! :D I laughed at Maria pulling Kyle by the collar and his face when he sat down with his jacket up high on his neck. ;)

* I absolutely loved Michael's powers being psycho! :lol And I agree, that face he made when he couldn't fix the sugars... :lol cracked me up!

* Loved Liz's line "You know you really suck at small talk. Why don't you just tell Dr. Parker what's on your mind?" :lol :lol :lol

* Loved that Kyle called Max about his dad calling for a tow truck...Kyle is becoming one of my favorites! ;)

* Majandra was wonderful...you could feel all Maria's emotions. Her "It's what I always do" line was so heartbreaking, yet so true. :(

* Loved how she announced her CD at the end. ;) The end song with shots of everyone was cool. She has such a beautiful voice.

* Ok, hated how Max just asked for the pendant back from Liz with no explanation or anything. Plus she acts like she wears it all the time and this is the first time we've seen it around her neck. Weird.

* HATE that we aren't getting ANY Max/Liz scenes (where they are actually together in a shot) and the little we do get SUCK! It feels almost like Max is pulling away and they're not passionate like they used to be (even earlier, in the first few eps of the season) - which you'd think they would be when they don't see each other much. :rolleyes

* Then when the Pod Squad was watching the Jeep getting pulled up by Pa Evans...they seemed too calm! If that was S1 or S2 Mike & Iz especially would have been FREAKING!!! Felt weird...

* The lake/fishing scene was weird. Looked fake and almost like the lake at Universal Studios where they filmed Jaws with the moutain background. Loved how Jason showed Max's disgust there though. And couldn't believe Phillip just said "We're done, let's go" after that phone call.

* Isabel's story to the parents was mostly true, but bummed that she didn't get to tell them the whole truth. Hated how Phillip THEN appologized for getting Jesse involved. What a jerk! >:

* I think they'll eventually tell them, but who knows.

* Liked Liz and Maria's girlfriend talk under the blanket. Like it should be. Gets me a little worried though that Liz realized how much she's given up for Max, too. ::nervous::

* I HATED Michael's "bisexual" comment during the break-up. Didn't even seem like something Michael would say...and was such a stupid thing to say during such a sensitive moment. The writers could've come up with 20 better lines than THAT! :rolleyes

* Glad TPTB didn't make Phillip believe Iz's story and give up right there cuz this investigation thing is at least some suspense for us. Interesting how he put Isabel's pic up with the "conspirators" Hmmm...

* Max & Michael's Metallica chat was hysterical! :lol But I'm with you, Karen why bury everything out in the middle of nowhere, which can and probably will be found, where it's not safe. Weird. Just seems too non-chalant for Max's usual worrisomeness.

Excited that they are showing the Pilot next week!!! I can tape it and have another copy (although this one will be the clearest) to have when the other ones wear out! :lol I hope a lot of people tune in. I would laugh if it's ratings were higher than any other ep. ;)

Off for now... Hope everyone is doing well!
