Okay, since it won't quit raining here I'm humoring myself by starting this little survey. What were the bests and worsts of season 2? Some of the categories are MTVish, so obviously this is not to be taken seriously. Let's have some fun! Here are the categories:

Worst Episode - How the Other Half Lives. Harvest and Surprise were duking it out for those honors, but THC came along and totally wiped out the competition.
Funniest Line - "You made the exception for bottle job and old man river out there" (Maria, Summer of 47)
Best Villain - Er, did we have a good villian this year? I guess if I had to pick, it would have to go to Nicholas.
Best Special Effect - I liked the baby handprint.
Worst Special Effect - It's a tie: the blue jellyfish and Max (and Tess) appearing inside of the granolith.
Best Kiss - Er, did anyone really kiss this year? I guess I'll give it to M&L in the jeep in Departure. There wasn't alot to pick from
Best Plot Line - The whole Future Max thing. Too bad it was dropped without explanation.
Worst Plot Line - Another tie: The gandarian crystals/the pregnancy
Best Performance by a Bare-Chested Male - Gee, I wonder who that could be! Gotta give it to Max, doing those wonderful pull ups

Best Episode: TEOTW
Worst Episode: THC (I really didn't like Surprise because that is when Max and Liz were supposed to get back together... and well the SPOILERS WERE WRONG.. so I just hated the whole show I didn't even tape it!!!)
Funniest Line: I liked the whole Christmas Nazi thing! Alex in Surprise... even though I couldn't stand the show Alex was so funny in it!!!
Best Villain: Nick if he is a villian.. What an actor...
Best Special Effect:hmmm Could shirtless Max be a special effect?
Worst Special Effect: well, I didn't really like the whole spaceship taking off.. and what was that falling off the rocks? Looked like lava...
Best Kiss: Max and Liz in TEOTW where she got flashes..
Best Plot Line: I did like F.M.
Worst Plot Line: HANDS DOWN THC, couldn't they have just done one show instead of 4 I mean come on!!
Best Performance by a Bare-Chested Male: HA HA.. this is good Karen!!!! Does my favorite special effect count?

Funniest Line "I need you to help fall out of love with you" Future Max to Liz(Is Max that dumb to think it would work...)OK! I know that wasn't a funny line, but it's the only one I could think of.

Seriously, this category should have an "s" at the end of "episode" . I'll go with the whole Hybrid Crap arc though I did like the little M/L eraser room scene in WAF. Also, HOM which they completely butchered. Can't say I hated Surprise b/c of Alex's strip tease and I'm always up for a little Tess torture.
Funniest Line:
Rath to Tess in MITC: "Hey, is someone talkin' to you, retard?"
Best Villain:

Best Special Effect:
Gotta love that rod thingy in the alien billboard in WO!
Worst Special Effect:
The flying squid and that stupid Terminator 2 rip-off of liquid lead/metal at the end of Departure.
Best Kiss:
Alex and Isabel's -- NOT!! Groom Max and bride Liz in VLV.
Best Plot Line:
Tess being the villain, though I wish they'd addressed this sooner. Katims and Co. made the whole plot obscure and sudden. But of course, they needed someone to be responsible for Alex's death w/o having to think too hard. Imagine, Tess would still be the one that stuck out like a sore thumb if Alex's death plot line never happened.
Worst Plot Line:
The Hybrid Crap arc.
Best Performance by a Bare-Chested Male:
Of course, Max's pull-up scene.

Tess in S&B, and I used to adore Liz's hair last season but it's not the same this season. They probably got cheaper hair dressers this season or something.

I'll agree with MM that Max's hair was better at the beginning of the season. Same thing happened to his hair last season. By Destiny, his hair was just dull and flat.
Worst Hair (male):
Good grief, don't get me started on Michael or better yet, Brendan!
Best Outfit:
Isabel's bday outfit in Surprise.
Worst Outfit:
After watching S&B again tonight after its premiere (nothing else was on and I've totally burned out my S1 tapes ), I have to say that TPTB had a hell of a way of trying to pull in that male demographic! It looked like Isabel and Tess were having a contest on who could flaunt it the most!

Two of them continue to keep things moving, along with others, but the other two are conspicuous in their absence. Rumor has it that since they now live on opposite coasts, they have decided to rendezvous somewhere in between; moreover, somewhere in between where he other two reside, i.e. Arizona and Ohio. What better place than Roswell, New Mexico. Are the other two now hiding from friends, family, and significant others, hoping to meet real life PODs in the land of the 1947 sightings and keeping each other company in the meantime? The first one of these two to respond on this board to this inquiry will get a virtual cyberspace kiss from either Tess or Max, their choice.
Is it true that Roswell withdrawal causes hallucinations resulting in silly, nonsensical posts?

jumping up and down.. I'M RESPONDING.... I'M RESPONDING!! OH WOW... I'm first... wooo hooo... Damn I'm not one of the missing... NEENERS... she is responding through me!!!! she gets the cyber kiss from Max... WOOO HOOO NEENERS.. Brian well he has bad connections in NY... that is why he hasn't been here so much.. I guess NY hasn't come into the 21 century with cable or DSL... poor poor Brian... I do miss him.. I mean.. Gosh no one to pick on... no wise comments... <sigh> I am sure he will be back when he can... Unless he is on that cheap spaceship that FINALLY took Tess way... the other is Neeners.. hhmmmmmm she is busy.. getting ready for that wedding and all.. school is out so she is probably resting! of course that is no excuse for her disappearing act.. but then again she did speak through me to get that kiss from Max.. that does count right.????

im just a new comer to this site, but i love roswell as you guyz and you will hopefully be reading some of mine comments..
Best Episode-I will probably have to say when the Future Max came and the Departure. The future episode showed the end of the relationship of max and liz..but the departure showed the bond that they have
Worst Episode-When Tess and Max did the nasty..lol..well i know people are saying they didnt do that..but i mean..if she wasnt pregnant, then why would she go home when there is a deal that she is supposed to be carrying his kid and stuff.. i mean that isnt very good to lie about that..
Funniest Line-"you were different, you were a king, now you just a boy," made by Tess at the end. Everytime i hear you say that is funny cause she is no queen..she would not have deceieved her husband and not have told him that she killed someone..i mean come on.. she aint no queen..queen my butt

Best Special Effect-I guess that would have to be when you see the love that in my max's eyes for liz.. i mean i know he loves her probably like a sister..but i mean.when i look in max's eyes..i can see love and all these emotions..he needs an emmy or something
Worst Special Effect-The whole Tess can mindwrap and how they zoom and you see her face scrunch up.
Best Kiss- When max and liz kiss all the time.
Best Plot Line- The whole going home thing..i guess..none of them were the best.
Worst Plot Line- The baby!!!!!!

Best Hair (female)-Isabelle's hair..its just great all the time

Everyone here is real nice.. well not everyone... there is this one guy.. who well really like Tess... so need I say more.. (you will know him by his name) someday he will show his face here.. he just has a slow connection... if you know what I mean.. (we joke alot with him around here..he's a great sport but isn't a dreamer at all..)

Well, yes, I have been very busy, mainly with the end of my first quarter for my MBA...that was a crazy last few weeks there! WHEW! Now I'm into my 3rd week of the second quarter. Hey, got B's though! YEAH! So, back to the grind of school, but as I said elsewhere...I PROMISE not to disappear for that long again. Haven't been too busy with the wedding stuff lately. But need to start looking for the photographer since they book up quickly.

Ok, here we go:
Best Episode - The End of the World/Cry Your Name were pretty close, but EOTW beat it by just a hair!
Worst Episode - Like everyone else...The whole Hybrid Crap thing! Were a few good/funny parts, but all in all was a waste of 4 (count 'em 4!) freakin eppys!
Funniest Line - A few, so bare with me, couldn't decide:
1."Do you have any idea how it feels to walk around all day with a thong up your ass?" ~Alex/Surprise (Too freakin funny!)
2.MICHAEL: "Hail the Christmas Nazi."
ISABEL: "What was that?"
MICHAEL: "Nothing." ~ARCC (And the look on Brendan's face, trying not to laugh...Oh, I was cracking up!) Although I hate to give one to Tess' character...
3."Since I'm living here, I should have a DAMN chair to sit in!" ~Tess/ARCC (LMAO on that one!)
4."Forgive me Buddah, but I'm going to kick your ASS!" ~Kyle/Wipeout
5."Tess, don't MAKE me come back in there!" ~Valenti/VLV
6.The whole opening conversation between FM and Liz in her bedroom about the gray hair and the look in her eyes wondering where the Mariachi band is and him replying, "I said approximately." Too cute and funny!

Best Villain - Nicholas since he was the biggest threat this year.
Best Special Effect - I don't know...none stick out in my mind, but the shedded skin dissolving was pretty cool.
Worst Special Effect - Lava stuff at end of Departure.
Best Kiss - I'll give it to M&L in the jeep in Departure. There wasn't alot to pick from of good kisses...that was the most passionate.
Best Plot Line - I'll just copy what Karen (MM) said..."The whole Future Max thing. Too bad it was dropped without explanation." I agree. Let's hope they resolve that next season.
Worst Plot Line - Hybrid arc and pregnancy
Best Performance by a Bare-Chested Male - Hmmm... This is definitely not a hard one! Definitely that AB-solutely beautiful scene of Max doing pull-ups! YUMMY!
Best Hair (female) - Tie: Isabel in ARCC / Liz's up do at end of VLV OOOH, and I liked Lonnie's short, curly do, too!
Worst Hair (female) - VLV 70's Tess
Best Hair (male) - Again, what Karen/MM said..."Loved Max's early-season hair, but by the end of the season, WTF happened to him???"
Worst Hair (male) - Michael
Best Outfit - Isabel's Surprise dress/Liz's red dress in VLV/FMax's all leather look/Officer Alex
Worst Outfit - Skin & Bones (girls) was pretty bad...then any of those weird/funky Maria outfits and Isabel's black leather dress in VLV (just didn't like the way it looked)
Best Butt (Added by Kristina) - MAX

Well, Karen, Iceman has a tear in his elbow and he did this on April 25. (or around there) He was still feeling pain about a week ago so he is still out. Its a weird injury and can only heal on its own. So we are just waiting for his return!!! B.A. (Anderson) was also hurt, and he was pitching a monster of a game... Only like 56 pitches about 6 3/4 innings... He was on fire.. then he pulled a groin muscle... poor guy.. They say he is the one on the team that has all weird things happen to him.. did her hear that he was sleep walking while on the road and locked himself out of his room... he was naked! What a riot! Lucky for him he has a great sense of humor! He also hurt his toe putting on a pair of boots, he pulled a muscle in his back getting out of bed.. and believe me there is more.. They say he is the walking accident of the team.. but such a funny man.
Just having to edit to see if my pic will FINALLY show up...
