Bitting Help
My Missouri Fox Trotter mare seems to do well in many different bits. However, with my new riding instructor, we do a lot of close contact, direct-reining work, and I normally put a simple medium port 4" shanked curb that is common in our area. With all the close contact work, I need a different bit that will allow me lots of contact, collection, while still being humane. I don't have a lot of money to spend, so what is generally a good bit that works well on gaiting Fox Trotters? Thanks for your help.
