I'm surprised no one has talked about this episode yet. This was one of my favs. I loved it; I thought it was so hilarious and had such great scenes between Max and Kyle, and Max and Liz.

The drunk scenes were so funny.
MAX: "Did you just call me a wussie?" :) :lol

KYLE: "Hey, I'm just happy to be nominated..." ~LMAO~ I crack up everytime I hear/read this line...such a great line! :)

And the scenes between M/L outside on the street when he lights everything up and sets off the car alarm and everything...**SIGH** TOO SWEET, ROMANTIC, CUTE... <3 Loved it!

AND Majandra singing...what a great voice!

I could go on and on about this episode...

Ah, the infamous 'donkey smile' episode. :) They need to give Jason a lot more humor this season because he does comedy well.

And Max and Kyle...great interaction!! I'm glad the writers didn't let Kyle turn out to be a total a--hole!

But the ending..."I don't remember"...UGH!!! Now that made me mad. Poor Liz! Hearing all that wonderful stuff from Max and them him making lame excuses. :(

And I still think they threw in that "Nasedo/Library/Sci-fi" stuff just so they could put scifi stuff in. It seemed a little pointless to me.

All in all, a really entertaining ep, though! I'm hoping for more humorous Max/Kyle interaction in the next season. :)

Donkey Smile - very funny, SisterofNight! I have to admit I jumped back a bit when he flashed that drunken grin - how one guy can go from looking so hot one minute to looking that dorky the next is beyong me! It made it all the more funny as far as I'm concerned.

Loved Kyle - everything he said cracked me up, but the best was still the "Hey, I'm just happy to be nominated" line. Gets me every time!

And what a show Max put on for Liz! My heart melted when he looked up from the van with that little smile on his face - what girl could resist that?!

Hated the ending, though. Makes me wonder how much Max really remembered...hmmm

Absolutely my favorite Roswell episode!!! Unfortunately the chances look slim that we'll be seeing another "Blind Date" or "Heatwave" this season. :(

I've been online all today posting about Roswell -- and I was just thinking about Blind Date. Here is a totally stupid thing I just thought of. :lol :

Where Max is watching Liz surrounded by people at school, he shakes a bottle of tabasco sauce into the bag of chips he is eating. But WAIT. Isn't it extremely SWEET mixed with extremely spicy? Unless they've invented a new sugar flavored brand of chips I haven't heard of ... :rolleyes :

And isn't pouring tabasco sauce into a BAG of chips kinda gross? Think about it. You'd reach into the bag and your hand would get sauce smeared all over it. Not to mention some chips would be drenched with sauce while others would be bare. The logical thing to do would be to DIP the chips into the sauce ... come on, Max! We all know you're broken up about Liz, but think logically!
