Boar Hunter Magazine subscriber hunt
Greetings all!

I posted a thread here about six months ago about a free hunt for subscribers at Ft. Stewart. Due to my schedule, I'm going to have to postpone the hunt until next year. I will keep you all posted, and would also like to get some subscriber's to join me on a hunt at Clarkrange Hunting Lodge in Tennessee early next year. I'll be filming footage for video and writing another hunting story.

Hey Gary, send me more info about the Clarkrange hunt? I recently watch a promo-video on that place...looks like that might be something to do :)

Must work on Scheduling
Tinman,

I'll have to wait until my 2004 schedule comes out before booking. I get a four day week end every four to six weeks. Hunts usually run $495 plus tax and about $50 bucks for a tip for the guides. Lodging's provided, but meals are not. We'll probably all get together here prior to the hunt and decide who's bringing what, like a family cook out. We'll do ribs or steaks, or just burgers and dogs. We'll also be chowin' on wild pork backstraps on one of those days. It'll be a lot of fun! I look for it to be in the first three months of the year. Lots of celebrity hunters like Bob Foulkrod, Ted Nugent, Dave Watson hold hunts here, too. I may, or may not try to book during one of those hunts. It's wild up there, the boars can be very aggressive. I can also be very cold during these months. My hunt in January was in snow and ice, yet chasing those dogs got me heated up real quick. It's not that bad of a price once you get out there and start doing it.

I hope we can get four or five hunters here to go. After one hunter takes his boar, the whole group usually takes off after the next hog. I plan on making a Clark range Hunt an annual event. I love that place!

Thanks!
Thanks for the info Gary. My first born is due January 12th so I might not be huntin' too after the first of the year...for about 18 years!:lol

The video I saw was one with Bob & Dave Watson. Pretty good stuff.

I'll keep an eye out closer to the date...who knows she may have run me off by then anyway!:( :eek :b :smokin

Contact info.
Any and all interested hunters should contact me by phone or e-mail about this hunt. "Tennessee Mountain Madness", an awesome time, in some often tough terrain. The lodging is great, but we'll be bringing our own chow.
