Boney, Where Are You?
All of your peers have called in to the WAVE radio station and commited to performing at least one song at the concert on October 14 at the Los Angeles Forum to benefit the victims of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Rick Braun, Brian Culbertson, Brenda Russell, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Lorber, James Ingrim, Kenny G, Peter White, Norman Brown, and many others have called. I've been listening to that radio every morning waiting for you to call. You're so special. You're a Southern California Guy and you have a new CD coming out on October 23rd.... don't you think this might be a good way to start things off. Your fans would love to see you there. Where are you?

Boney James coming to IN.?
I just found this website a couple weeks ago, and wanted to know if he plans (or has already been nearby) to come to Indianapolis or South Bend. Been a "Bonifide" fan since his release of "Backbone" which I heard one of his cuts on 95.5 WGCI in Chicago. If you can put me on your e-mailing list on any latest info. I'd appreciate it greatly. Can't wait to listen to "Ride" in my ride...........Jazzed

Welcome to the site, Jazzed. You'll have fun!
As for being placed on an e-mail list - I received an e-mail from Boney's manager, Dana Collins, collins@directmgmt.com, the other day, announcing the Ride's release.
Hope that helps....
Debbie

I got to dance with Boney on August 11, 2001, and he
played his saxophone just for me, too!

Boney took me for a RIDE
Thanks for the invite Deb and others..........
Just bought the new CD and I must say, original to the max. Grand Central and Ride are jammin.
It must be unique to all of us to appreciate this kind of music. Not only does the tenor sax sound great period, but add the wide array of backround instruments to that and it's "feel good music" at it's best. I'm 31 and I'm definitely going to pursue taking sax lessons. Been debating over it for a few years, and if it weren't for hearing a cut off "Seduction" at a friends house, I may never have known who Boney James is.
I have to get to one of his concerts..........that would be the bomb!! Come to South Bend Boney! Got to go for another RIDE................Thanks again all! INSTRUMENTAL INDEFINITELY
Maybe we Boney fans can get together someday.......

Re: Boney, Where Are You?
Boney, you are desperately needed and sought in the Philadelphia area. I just do not seem to have any luck when it comes to seeing you live when you are in the area. The first time that I missed you was because I was on my way to North Carolina to go back to college. Then, I could not go because I got sick and was stuck in the bed. I tried to go, vomitting and all, and my boyfriend would not let me leave the house. The next time you came, my boyfriend was going to surprise me and give me tickets, but the night of the concert we broke up and he decided that he would rather trash the tickets then see me with them. The latest time, I could not go as my sister had no one else to babysit so that she could go to work and hence I was stuck at home with my three year old niece. I would do anything to see you live. I just seem to have no luck when it comes to this . Please come back to the Philadelphia area and come soon. I just can't wait!
