Boney....I apologize!
I'm not sure if you remember this, or even will read this, but I have to apologize to you. You were in St.Petersburg, Florida a few years ago doing a live show with David Benoit. Anyway, as you ran into the crowd, I patted you on your ass as you ran by me, (your bodyguard warned me not to do that again). Also, after the show, you were signing autographs, and I said something to you like...."shakin not stirred" huh... obviously confussing you with David's CD at the time. I deeply apologize! We were drinkin wine all day, so needless to say I had a bit to much, (had a great time though, lol).
Anyway, after seeing you again at the Clearwater Jazz Fest a couple weeks ago, it reminded me of this. Man, you were hot as hell that night!!! Along with "Down to the Bone", "Wayman Tisdale", and the rest....you smoked them all!!!
Boney, hope you forgive me...you're the best Jazz Man on the scene today!!! Your latest..."Pure"...in my opinion is your best so far, (however, Body Language is a close 2nd, lol).
