Car accident Dear ladies, I wanted to tell you about my brother's co-worker's step-daughter, who is in her 30's, I think. She and a friend of hers were in a car accident last week; her friend was driving. The friend is okay, but Curt's daughter had a severe head injury, and has been in the hospital unconcious ever since then. The doctors were unable to operate because of a lot of pressure that was being applied to her brain (I'm not exactly sure what the injury was). Anyway, they say she has two days to live. This has been really hard on Curt and his wife, and her friend is extremely upset because she was the one driving. Please pray for these people, that they will come to know Christ in this (if they don't already) and cling to His comforts. Atlanta |

Re: Car accident Thankyou all for your prayers! As of last night, she was still unconcious and they were considering taking her off life-support. Sorry I can't tell you her name...I can't remember. I did find out more about her, though. She has two children who really need your prayers. Curt and his wife are trying to get custody of them, because the father of one of the children has them, and is not a good parent, putting it mildly. Yes, we ought to pray for him too. I think it's much easier to pray for those who are hurting, but the hurtERS need it just as much! In Christ, Atlanta |

Re: Car accident I just thought I'd give you an update... She is still in acoma and they are going to wait it out for a month or so. Her body is functioning okay (she is only on a feeding tube), but it won't do much good if she doesn't wake up.  Atlanta |

Re: Car accident Well, Curt's daughter finally died earlier this week. It has been a long haul. They kept her on the feeding tube all this time, hoping that she'd come to. But I think that her mind had been gone for a long time. They finally gave up and took her off the tube a while back. It's so, so sad. And I don't know what's going to happen with her children; no one wants them. Atlanta |
