Castleberry Courtship Books Have any of y'all read the Castleberry Farms Press courtship books ? There are two of them called 'The Courtship of Sarah McLean' and 'Waiting For Her Isaac' (I think there's another but I haven't read it).They are actually novels about courtship, written & self-published by Mr & Mrs Stephen B. Castleberry.Each book tells about a young lady's courtship & her spiritual preparation for marriage.My parents gave me 'Waiting For Her Isaac' when I was ten (that was how they introduced me to courtship  ).These are excellent books.In Christ, Emma |

Oh! I love those books!
The other one is about Sarah's brother ,Jeff, and his courtship. It is called " Jeff McLean: His Courtship". I would definitely recommend reading it even though it is about a boy, because it really goes into what the characteristics of a true young lady should be. It helped me a lot in developing my character. I realy liked both of the other ones two! Re: Castleberry Courtship Books Yes, I have read all three. I need to find them. They have to be somewhere on one of our 6 or 7 bookcases! The one you couldn't remember is the Courtship of Jeff McClean. The sequel to Sarah.  I read them a few years ago. maybe 3-4. I think I would like to re-read them. Re: Castleberry Courtship Books The other book is Jeff McLean: His Courtship which is about the brother of Sarah McLean. They are good books. I was especially happy to see the one about Jeff McLean as there are far fewer fiction books encompassing courtship for young men to read than for young women, so this one really filled a gap. I thought that Waiting for Her Isaac was the best one, though all are worth reading. In Him, |
