Cheat Sheets
Here are some cheat sheets for mastering skills..please add any suggestions if you have a faster way to skill up.

skillers guide to all is www.eqtraders.com use it wisely :)

First thing..get buffed. It will save you plat in the long run. Then get to work.

Fletching :
1st thing ..get a fletching kit.
1-56 field point + wood + round + small
56-102 hooked + wood + round + large
102-135 field + ceramic + round + large
135-162 field + wood + bone vein + large
162- 200 field + wood+ ceramic vein + large

Tailoring:
1st thing .. get a sewing kit.
1-66 combine 2 mandrake roots(bought at alchamy guys)
66-115 quiver pattern + HQ cat pelt = quiver
then to get up to 188 I would suggest acrylia studded armor but, you need to go to the website above to get all the patterns ..there are just too many to type them all out :)

Smithing:
1st get a smithing hammer .. you will need it later.
1-95 bracer mold + water flask (bought) + sheet metal = banded bracer
95-115 mail mold + water flask (bought) + 3 sheet metals = banded tunic
115-132 coif mold+ smithy hammer+silver bar+water flask + 2 HQ rings (see recipes at site) = Ornate chain coif
132-142 tunic mold+smithy hammer+silver bar+water flask+3HQ rings = Ornate chain tunic
to go higher in this skill you would switch the silver bar to an electrum one and so on till you get to the skill you want.

Pottery :
1st thing .. find a wheel

1-41 Block of clay+large jar sketch+water flask (bought).

Laru advises and I agree ..just destroy what you make and dont fire them..it is a waste of plat, BUT if you wanted to fire the jars you would need a Quality Firing sheet.

41-122 Block of clay+medium bowl sketch+water flask )if firing needs 2 high quality firing sheets)
122-199 large block of clay+casserole dish sketch+water flask+ceramic lining (see above website) and if firing a high quality firing sheet.

Baking:
1st get a spit and a non stick frying pan
1-135 bat wing+freah fish (both vender bought)= fishrolls
135-191 lion, wolf or bear meat (sold by the gnome vender in SH by the bank)+ loaf of bread + cheese ( only place sold is Jagged Pine at the vender) + non-stick frying pan = patty melt.
191-200 just switch your meat to griffon meat or anaconda meat.
When you go to buy cheese look for it on the venders there..but mobs are found in Jagged Pine forrest.
* helpful hint..rolls and melts sell for about a plat a piece in the bazaar if you stick them on a vender. So at 20pp a stack you can make money baking.

brewing:
1st thing ..go to SK and find the undead cyclops .. you will need his skull, but there are people in the guild that have the skull and we can always pass it around.

1-151 skull+vinigar+spices+short beer = skull ale
151-248 3 malts+yeast+2 water flasks+2 short beers+cask =Mino's hero brew

Another helpful hint to skilling..if you carry the container on you..you can skill and swim or skill and fish at the same time. This way you dont waste the buffs you have on just raising one skill.

I am gonna go ahead and let jac post the shortest way to become a master jewler cuz she is a GM and can probably give better advice. most of the things you make with the exception of the jars, bowls and skull ale sell pretty well in the bazaar..I sold most of the products I made back to the vender and the most expensive I can see so far was smithing .. but none really broke the bank.

Anyway..any tips you might have are more then welcome..please post..I am not a GM in any skill atm so I am no expert .. but I really hope this helps in some way.

Books

Re: Cheat Sheets
Sorry Aahz..i was in the middle of typing this out when you posted that..these are the fastest and I got the fletching breakdown based on the cheapest way to master fletching. I didnt lose much money fletching but now I wish I had sold the arrows I had made in the bazaar instead of the vender..I would have made a profit.
Most of the ways to raised these skills that I have posted have taken me about an hour or less to master and a little more time to get a bit higher..but I am also at 265 wisdom unbuffed..so I do suggest getting buffed before you work on skills. I do know there are many in the guild that are more then happy to slap on some buffs for a person that wants to work on trade skills

Re: Cheat Sheets
There are some things that those who can forage can use in brewing that make it REALLY cheap to advance in skill. A lot of times, you only have to buy bottles.

1- 21 skill: 4 pods of water + 1 bottle (bought) -> 1 water flask

1-21 skill: 2 foraged berries + 1 water flask -> 5 berry juice.

1-24 skill: 2 foraged fruit + 1 water flask -> 5 fruit juice.

1-30 skill: 1 foraged fruit + 1 foraged vegetable + 1 water flask + 1 bottle (bought) -> 1 bottle of Kalish

Once you get past this, you can then use:

1-102 skill: 1 foraged vegetable + 1 water flask -> vegetable oil

1-122 skill: 1 foraged cinnamon stick + 1 water flask -> sumthin (forget what, Cabilis essence I think)

1-122 skill: 1 fishing grub + 1 water flask -> 1 fetid essence

I know this isn't much that's terribly impressive, but if you can forage, basically, brewing is a really cheap skill to advance with some of the "trash" stuff you can forage up. (not that all of that is trash, but you get my meaning). It might cost 20p to get to 122 depending on how cheap you wanna be with it. There are some foraged items that mix with water to get skill up to as high as 186 that I have found too.

trivial at 186 -> 1 deadbone barley + 1 water flask -> sumthin. Haven't bothered getting that high up yet. :p

So you young druids and rangers! Don't toss the stuff, brew with it! Then make Heady Kiola to sell at the bazaar and amass a modest fortune!

(Heady Kiola-> 2 packages of kiola sap + 1 water flask + 1 bottle. trivial at 46)

Re: Cheat Sheets
The problem lies in getting 4.5k. I'm a chanter with a charisma of like 185 or so (only lvl 24, so I don't wanna hear it Laru and Jacq), and I'm usually poor as all heck. I could farm for a while, but that's kinda boring. Guess I gotta wait till 29 when I can cast clarity for donations. Breeze just doesn't go for that much, and no one wants it anymore. Not with higher chanters giving out free C2 or KEI or the new PoP spells *shudders in joy at the thought of 18 mana per tick* Anyways, yeah. JC is one of the harder ones just cause of how friggin expensive it is. I'm only now getting to electrum with it.
