Checkers Equipment Sale - post what you got
I snagged a Langer helmet, a Mike Ayers locker nameplate, a Cutter stick, a Rawlyk stick (you like that, Kidder? ), and jersey nameplates of Blackburn and someone else I don't remember.
I also made a fan-to-fan transaction at the arena today that I'll share with you all when I get pictures taken. The old school fans will love it, I promise.

I got a Liffiton stick and locker nametags of Wirll, Christiansen and Jake Taylor. There was a team signed helmet from this year that I wanted but I couldn't bring myself to pay $50 for it. Also had a nice conversation with Sevy. He said he just got engaged and Presto got married Monday in Cancun.

erin and i got jersey nameplates of cuthbert, chandler, pock, and dusablon. we also got dwight helminens stick, a puck and a couple pairs of socks.

I came away with 2 Rawlyk sticks or Big Bird as he is apparently referred to as, and no both are not for me, one was for my little sister. I also got one of the team signed helmets and a Lang & Glenn Jersey name badge. One other thing that I got was a little weird...I got a Rawlyk jersey name badge, but it was in white letters outlined in orange. I thought that was strange and then I compared the letters to the orange & blue jersey my sister has of Konrad McKay, and the letters are the same type with the same type of blue Jersey material. That McKay jersey was from the 01-02 season and Rawlyk didn't join us until 03-04. So hmmmmm...maybe it was a practice jersey with leftover letters from the orange days??? I need to email Sevy and ask him.
Also, News 14 covered the sale and guess who was on TV looking through the equip? Me! Very funny.

They wore those jerseys Rory's first year for one game (Turn Back the Clock Night). So, they had more than one of those nameplates.
I got a Lang stick, a Jamieson stick, Lang's skates, Stals NYR gloves home and road socks from this year and St. Patty's day socks from last year. I also got a Craig Weller's #27 white set 2 jersey from 2002-03. It has the "A" added for Preston, when he wore it in the preseason the following year.
