Blooming in His Care

I really like Christams Carol Kauffman, she's mennonite I believe. I have read her books: For One Moment Lucy Winchester and I'm just finishing Unspoken Love. A warning though she's not fluffy Christian romance at all! She's very true to life even if it's depressing. Lucy Winchester was good, but a little too depressing for me! Jenny,
I agree with you on Lucy Winchester. That was just a wee bit too sad. I've also read: Escape from Kyberg Castle (Not Regina), and Hidden Rainbow. Of all the books by Christmas Carol Kauffman, Escape from Kyberg Castle was my favorite. LIC, Krista ![]() |

I liked Light From Heaven, even though it was so sad!! It was neat in the end though ![]() "Be Thou praised, my Lord, with all Thy creation. Above all, the sun, who gives the day, and lightens us therewith. And he is beautiful and radiant, with great splendor; of Thee, O Lord Most High, he bears similtude. Be Thou praised, my Lord, of the moon and stars. In the heaven Thou hast formed them, clear and precious, and comely. Be Thou praised, my Lord, of the earth, which sustains us, and has us in rule; and produces divers fruits with colored flowers and herbs." --St. Francis of Assisi |

This was a wonderful woman....I knew her as a young child growing up in Penna. Her husband than married one of my favorite teachers and moved to Sarasota, Florida.......Actually her son was the pastor to my mom and dad at a Mennonite church there. The truth about these stories is that they are written about real people. Lucy Winchester was a real person and it is based on her life. Hidden Rainbow is also true and listed as a biography. My grandma read them to me as a child.....she really used them as a teaching tool to me to be strong in the Lord, to always seek His will, to always reach out to those in need and because I am adopted she used that book to help me. I have drawn from my memory of these books often. I no longer have them because they have been lent out and not come home but I think I want to read them again. Now I will go and introduce myself.
