Thus, I get to drive 80 miles a day until then.

For what it's worth, at current prices, it'll still be cheaper to stay with the folks and drive than to live there and pay rent. What I don't get back is the 2 hours a day I'll have to spend on I-24. I've been making that drive for a month now and it's gotten REAL old.

However, when you think about times that an apartment would be empty in a college town, summer is generally what comes to mind. Most incoming students aren't going to move in until the month classes start.

While that in and of itself doesn't suck, the game was at least playable if a little buggy before I rebuilt my machine. Now, it's more crash prone than Win95 with the official patch. There's an unofficial patch that makes it slightly less crashy, but it's still worse than before.
