Cumberland University Bulldogs will win Trans South Coach Thompson was supposed to be rebuilding that powerhouse team he had last year, with Alonzo Evans, Leroy Hickerson and Hollis Hampton this team never reached expectations, but its the new Kids on the Block......G Everett, F Ron, F/C Janis Ivanovskis, The BIG Man from Walters States CC, Sophomore PG Kevin Townley up from the Cumberland JV team. Returning Players like Oldham, Palmer, Moss, Burnett, They beat the Last year team pretty good in a scrimmage game doing Spring Practice, This is a new TEAM, not Thug-Ville, they listen to Coach Thompson who is a outstanding Coach, and will take this TEAM right though the Trans South. yes I know Trevecca & Union University will come to play and do great against Cumberland, but Cumberland is ready to meet the challenge and will prevail, after that who knows, The GAC Conference is next!!!!!......GO BULL DOGS |

Trans South
What exactly is the Trans South? I know I've heard of the TranSouth Conference, but what is up with the Trans South?
So Cumberland will win a conference that doesn't exist. Congratulations on your no-conference-title winning. |

new coach? Cumberland's getting a new coach? Or is Lonnie going to let someone else coach the team? All he does is roll the ball out and let the team dictate what happens. Lonnie can recruit talent, but you have to coach them or eventually they will implode. The team two years ago was a fluke. If all you do is roll the ball out, eventually other coaches will figure out how to limit the one on one style. |

Lonnie just dont have Fan Support The problem is that Cumberland lack the Fan support! to say Lonnie is a bad Coach is outrages! He recruited great this year.. He has young stars that will help Cumberland University back on its FEET!!! As U know they have a great Baseball Program, well this what Cumberland is going to be looking at the next 5 years, Good respectfull Adults... The problem with last TEAM is no chemistry ZERO!!!! A lot of stars no LEADERS, WEll this year check out the young Point Guard,, he one of the best I've seen in the NAIA.D1... With some good well rounded players around him... Like Trevecca University last year, this team will be the BIG Surprise!!! (I agree with Raining3s) Trevecca, Union and Cumberland University will be the TOP teams in the NAIA this year,,, TN Basketball will be back on the NAIA MAP BIG this YEAR!!! 2005 & 2006.... Should be a great season, Now I don't no if Cumberland will win the TranSouth but they will be a lot better this YEAR!!!!! |

We Do have Fan Support!!!! Cumberland has fan support!!!! To say Cumberland doesn't have fan support is wrong, Everybody want to be a critic!!! Okay the guy wrote Trans South instead of TranSouth, but know what he was talking about. then to say Cumberland has no FANs this is wrong... We fill the seats up at Cumberland University.... We are great Fans, we Support Coach Thompson Basketball Program... I'm a proud Bulldog Fan... I think this will be a great Year for Cumberland Basketball to include Fan Support... We are a great University with great People and Great Athletics. I will continue to Support Cumberland Coach Thompson.. I really feel that the TranSouth is Union University Championship but Cumberlands for the Taking!!!!!! GOOOO!! BULLDOGS!!! |
