Current History In 0079 Humans had moved into space and resided there. The Earth presided over the colonies, who wished for independance. In enough time there was a war, the colonies won, Zeon was victorious, but the Zabi Family died at the hands of Zeon ace pilot Char Aznable, who then disapeared in a explosion after setting the record of his father straight. Zeon become a democratic nation but was ill set from being cut off from earth, becoming more and more decrepit over the years. Eventually the Flanagan Society discovered that 45% of the colonial population had NewType Potential. UC 0097 May 22nd The streets or Riah are racked with a riot between OldTypes and Newtypes. It was later found out a drunken OT named Leonard Mackey lost his job to a NT Potential contractor at his construction firm. Angry and drunk, he slandered Nts into the prior mentioned escalation. A Jegan was sent in to moderate the situation, though no details are accurate, the jegan ended up opening fire on the crowd. The Pilot was never caught or prosecuted. "You won't see me coming.
