Darling Boy!
What a cute picture.
You have got an excellent start...good expressive eyes...Love that hair...a real charmer.

The only thing I could suggest is something I didn't really realize untill Ann Kullberg pointed it out on one of my pictures...

You have to be real careful in the amount of pressure you use when you're making the lines on and around the nose of a child.
Darker lines lead to more prominent features...which makes the child look older.

In the same sence I would lightly add a hint of a depresson at the edge of his mouth to show off that infectious smirk.

Of course being a work in progress...these things will be done in the process of finishing your drawing anyway.

I love what you have so far.
Can't wait to see it done!

Thanx Karen, I have noted your comments.I have just updated the picture on here so you can soon see the changes I`ve made so far. Up till now I have spent about 30 hrs on this.
Nearly put it in the bin yesterday but then just sat back and looked at it for about an hour.
