Meet Dave Barnes...

No, no, no... not that Dave Barnes. This guy:


I enjoy a couple of his tracks. "Everybody but You" made the cut on my mp3 player on my myspace page... he's got that Tennessee vibe (and even though I can't say I'm a huge fan of that vibe, sometimes it works for me) that's becoming pretty popular these days.

Ok Heather, go to town with your praises. :)

Haha. "L.A. Song" is my favorite at the moment.

His website is pretty flippin' sweet as well.

I read somewhere that DRH is playing a show in support of Dave and that is just...yeah. Sometimes I hate that I live in the middle of the country.

Went to see Dave Barnes/Matt Wertz on Friday night. It was beyond amazing.

I know that it sounds really stupid but the only way I can describe the show was that it was chock full of MUSIC. I mean, real music. I have been to so many shows and I have never felt this lost in the music alone.

Ok, and the fact that they are both adorable helped.

I got a couple good pictures. I need to get them off my phone.

The guys are playing a lot of shows so if they are coming near you on this tour, GO!
