Oran Park Day-Night
See "Upcoming Events" for entry form details etc. All on the www.nswrrc.com website. Entries close 20 April.
Re: Oran Park Day-Night
I downloaded the Entry Forms and there is a $50 discount if your entry is in by this Friday ($315 - 50 = $265) but that is relatively expensive for a one day event. Then again there are probably more races if its spread over the early evening. Can anyone verify that?
I suppose it boils down to how much you want to "Do It In The Dark"?
It is a bit hectic this time of year, now with the ARDC putting on a one-day Multi Club event two weeks later. If the Day Nighter is supported I can't see the ARDC event getting too many IPers.
Will the Overs and Unders run together at the Day-Nighter?

Re: Oran Park Day-Night
we just had one last week end at warwick .. the track was pitch dark .. most cars didn't have good head lights .. it was very dangerous as you can't see the apexes & corners properly , if your eyes was only as good/clear on what you can see during the race .. the medical ( doctor ) wouldn't pass your eyes for the cams license ...
i don't understand why we race at night without the proper lighting for around the track ..
guys.. i'm telling you ... it is ridiculously dangerous ...

lights
I competed at the 2004 day nighter in a sports sedan, the lighting at oran park was substantial however i remember the light at turn 1 kept going out.
They did seem to have the lighting sorted at last years day nighter, i flagged and never heard any complaints from drivers.
