Debate of Debates resolved

Advisors from the Bush and Gore campaigns met and agreed to three bipartisan debates, on Oct. 3, Oct. 11, and Oct. 17. Lieberman and Cheney will debate on Oct. 5.

Guess this was inevitable. The longer Bush held back on taking part in the bipartisan debates, the more it made him look, in my opinion, as if he were unsure of a structured debate format. I hope they both agree to the other debates Bush proposed also. It would be interesting to see how both candidates would fare in both unstructured and structured debates. But I don't think either candidate really wants to be exposed to questions that they haven't had hours to rehearse answers for.

I can hardly wait to watch the debates - I think it will be an eye-opener for alot of people, especially those who are undecided. However, I also believe that the very people who could benefit most from watching the debates will be watching Matlock...or wrestling...or whatever.
