If you managed to stay awake through the whole thing,

, do you think there was a clear winner? The polls don't seem to indicate that. I was hoping that one of them would say something decisive, but it doesn't seem like they can answer questions in the form of an answer.

That would make for a more interesting debate - limit the candidates to only answering yes or no, not spinning a mind-numbing tale that leaves the audience wondering what the original question was. But of course, that's never going to happen.

The vice-presidential candidates square off tonight.

Gore was the clear winner for me. I still believe Bush isn't experienced or intelligent enough to lead the country. He is "fuzzy" on foreign policy, and with things heating up in the Middle East as they are we need a leader with experience. Now is not the time for a change in governing parties. And I hate to think what would happen in Bosnia if the US police action ends. Bush Senior refused to send help when he was President, and just look what happened.
