 Desperately Seeking Seven/Torres Fanfiction Reviews
WANTED: REVIEWS OF T/7 FANFICTION!
The moderators of Voq Je Bang are putting out a call for reviews of Torres/Seven fanfiction you consider worthy of recommending to others. All the reviews will be gathered up and either posted to VJB's Database section and/or a suitable website.
In writing your reviews, please adhere to the following rules.
1) No flaming. If the story sucked, why do you want to recommend it anyway? Honest criticisms are allowed but please, be responsible. Likewise, don’t just say that a story is good, but say *why* you liked it; what aspects you enjoyed (characterization, description of love scenes, original resolution of the Tom Paris problem, etc).
2) All reviews must be no less than a hundred words, with due attention paid to spelling and grammar. If your spelling is notorious or your English uncertain, send it to someone else for checking as you would a fanfic. In fact, treat your reviews as you would a story – write it, then put it aside for a bit and go over it again later (or have someone else do it) before posting.
3) Please include a summary of the story, but *without* spoilers. Stuff along the lines of: "The scene where Seven proposes to B’Elanna in the photon torpedo tube is hilarious!" is acceptable, just don’t mention how an insane Janeway launches them out into space five seconds later.
4) Only one review per story. It’s OK for more than one person to review a story, say ‘She Who Hesitates is Lost’. But please don’t have a review for each chapter (though feel free to comment on individual chapters), or a review that praises 'Hesitates' and then says at the end, "Oh and her ‘Seven Wonders’ is good too!" If you think that, write a separate review for 'Seven Wonders' as well!
5) Only completed stories can be reviewed.
If you are a member of Voq Je Bang, post the review there like you would a story. If not, send them directly to me (Odon) at oxmys@hotmail.com.
Include in the Subject heading the letters RVW (for review) and the name of the story, e.g. RVW: My Blue Seven.
