Discussion: Tax Rates
Okay I propose we introduce low progressive taxes, and perhaps in future indirect taxes on demerit goods such as gambling to prevent overconsumption.
Re: Discussion: Tax Rates
100 isnt much is it? even 250 for that matter? Thats less than 15 aers... and for example as Aerlig PM I am paid 1000 aers... 20% of that (for example) would be hefty if I wished to use it in Trian.
How will taxing apply to people who have citizenship here but may not live here? If money is transfered out of the nation.. can it be tracked? Otherwise I may transfer it to a curretnyl tax free haven like Aerlig leaving Trian with none.
Just food for thought

Re: Discussion: Tax Rates
Well, these rates are from before the devaluation. Anyways, I'm convinced that no tax would be better for businesses here (which we are trying to stimulate) but if Nick thinks otherwise.. oh well, i'm not the economist
