F36 Flybridge and Windows
Hi all....I have an F36 that I'm completely rebuilding. One of the problems I'm presently tackling is the window leaks. I and also concerned that I may be over stressing them, since I've added my hardtop.

1)Has anyone else added a hard top and gotten concerned about the stresses in a big offshore roller?

2)Has anyone else fixed their leaks?

Thanks all. Glad to have found this site!!!!

Sorry, I can't help with question # 1. However, I can tell you that you will always have a small leak problem with any convertible/flybridge type boat. You can, however, try to reduce leaking by caulking all around the windows.

sorry to disagree w/ alex, but we have a carver 32 convertible 1987 vintage and have never had any window leaks. moreover, the side windows all are opening types so that breezes can circulate.
