FIGWIT
Yes, it is the character whom I had the great idea of naming 'pigwit'. But I didn't want to remain ignorant about it, and I looked for who it was. So for all of you who -like me- have no clue about who he is:

This character has no mention in any of the books and was named "Figwit" by the movie fans! And I read in a mexican movie-magazine that he was noticed because of the magnetic personality of the actor who plays it (a musician whose name is Bret McKenzie). According to this mag, the name is an acronym of the phrase "Frodo Is Great... Who Is THAT?".
It's funny how powerful fans can be when creating new characters, right?

Yeah, sorry... figwit isn't really a character.. but alot of people thought he was very hot in the fellowship (he's seen sitting with the elves at the Council of Rivendell)

As a result, throughout the fandom community, he has a rather large fanbase.

I actually didn't notice him... oops :D

The truth is out there...waiting to be discovered

In the pool of choosing between actor-role... Fitgwit is the last... yeah, that one that scares us the most, and didn't know who he were. That one is figwit.
And is true.
Fans have a huge power. If only we know how to use it. ;)

He actually has a 'real' name too, it's Melpomaen... (there are quite a few stories that star him ;) )

I don't think he looks that bad, he's cute (though I can think of a couple of other elf extras I like better ;) )

I happened to miss him too when I watched the movie. For some reason he just didn't stick out in my mind.

hahahhaa you guys are kute :p

His real name is Bret McKinzie and he played "Figwit" Bret's brother Justin McKinzie also played an elf in LotR. He's the one that sat to Elrond's right during the council scene. Like Figwit, he didn't get an official name, but fans have dubbed him Faelon. Their father Peter McKenzie is in the movie too! He plays Elendil in the Last Alliance scenes
