Forum usage...
I just thought I'd post a note to say: this board is what you make of it. Obvious maybe, but I figured that it was worth making clear that the board has been created as a facility for IPRA competitors. These forums are not going to be run in a heavy handed fashion, but are generally going to be allowed to tick over. Having said this, there are a small number of rules:
- Personal attacks/abuse towards other users will not be tolerated. Courtesy doesn't cost anything and rudeness only breeds the same;
- Attacks on organisations will not be tolerated. Given many competitors have sponsors, the last thing we need is to create a poor reputation of the class amongst current or prospective sponsors. Again, courtesy costs nothing;
- Bad language will not be tolerated. This should generally be automatically handled by the board software, but I'm aware that there are ways around that. Remember - this is a public forum and reflects on the class.
That's about all I can think of. If anyone has any concerns about a post or reply, either email me at Group3JDatsun@ozdat.com or post a separate message asking for a moderator to look at a post. There are others with moderation powers besides myself. I'll leave it up to those people if they want to reveal themselves.
