From TVGuide.com
*Spoilerish -- don't read if you don't already know! *
Roswell
Four Aliens and a Baby
60 min.
Tess (Emilie De Ravin) escapes from a downed alien ship being studied at an Air Force base, leaving a bloody trail in her wake---and bringing with her Max's infant son. While the military unleashes a dragnet in an effort to capture her, Max, Isabel and Michael work to get her to safety. Also: Isabel's parents confront her with a videotape that shows off some of Isabel's special powers.
Re: Four Aliens and a Baby
Okay, that was more like it I promise, no "WTF"'s this time
* So, we still haven't found out what the black cone thing is. I had to laugh at Max telling Michael to keep watching it in case it hatched and Michael telling him he liked him better when he was brooding and paranoid
* Yay! M&L are normal hormonal teenagers! Nice little make out scene with them Loved Liz telling Max to tell his mother they were studying French
* Bill did a nice job directing a complex episode!
* Nice acting in the fight between Isabel and Jesse. For once they weren't the Stepford couple
* Oh, ick - the government has the video tape. And these aliens are slipping - one of them should have been really paranoid about getting that tape and destroying it
* Wow - talk about being judged by a jury of your peers. The only person I couldn't guess how they were going to vote was Kyle. Nice touch that he looked to his father and then voted the same way as him.
* Liked that Max didn't heal Tess's leg
* Somewhat human of Tess to let Liz know that Max was always thinking of her when he was with Tess. Almost made me not want to hate her...nah, I still hate her
* Interesting that the baby is human. After seeing spoiler pics, I had a feeling that Max was going to give the baby away and I couldn't think of a good reason why he would do it after looking so long for him. But his rational did make sense and I got a little misty when he gave the baby "a memory" of him. You have to wonder if that means he would never have a baby with Liz, since he doesn't feel having Zan around him was safe.
* I thought Jason was incredible in this one. From the moment in the kitchen all the way until the end when his parents drive away with the baby, I had a big knot in my throat and it was all due to the way he acted out the scenes. I will miss seeing him act every week, but hopefully his new freedom will let him stretch his wings and do great things. <sad smile>
* Anyone notice the baby had a spaceship rattle in the last shot?
* Dammit - Tess did a self-sacrificing thing to save her child. I want to be mad at that woman, I tell you! Stop letting her do nice things!!!
* I thought some of the one-liners were the best they've been in a long time. Kyle was just non-stop "Can't you breast feed?"
* Hmm, the Maria character has about 3 lines per ep these days...see what happens when you b*tch??
* I just realized that Liz said she was going to kill Tess when she first saw her in Michael's apartment, then later claimed she voted to not turn her in because she's "not a murderer." Hmmm....blooper?
I'll need to rewatch, but I really liked this. One of the best this season.
Re: Four Aliens and a Baby
*about the liz wanting to kill tess... you see, that was just impulse, pure and simple impulse... and besides, when she finally calmed down and had to make a realistic decision as to whether or not tess should be spared, she thought about it and perhaps thought about the way max felt too so... yeah
*i'm glad that m&l are finally getting back together without all of that lame "i don't think things can be the same max" crap... duh!
*no offense, but it seems like "maria" is the only one complaining... well, other than her ex-male companion did... maybe they should've killed her off as well... or just got rid of her somehow... hmm???
*ENJOYED seeing valenti back on screen. i mean he was a big part of the show until this season... HELLO!
*and what?! now that the 'rents know about the "secret" all of a sudden mr. evans is all happy-happy-joy-joy about the situation...
*and about m&l ever having kids... i think that max's main concern was that the government was specifically looking for zan, so you never know... besides, they look like they were gettin' pretty comfy in the opening scene... lol...
it's just pains me that they had to tie up loose ends in the duration of only 2 episodes. the least upn could've done was have the full seaon and not just (what was it?) 18. that really cuts things short.
WHY COULDN'T ALL OF SEASON 3 AND MAYBE EVEN SEASON 2 HAVE BEEN AS ENERGETIC AND CLEAR CUT (well, it was almsot clear cut) AS THIS EPPY??? man... only NOW they're starting to realize how great it could be...

Re: Four Aliens and a Baby
MUCH BETTER...
* My fav line, I actually laughed out loud, gaping mouth and all..."Get up, bitch!" *clap-clap-clap* WHOO HOOO!!! It's about damn time!!!
* Loved that Max didn't heal Tess' leg..."Making you feel better is not one of my priorities right now" (or whatever his comment was)
* N--I--C--E make out scene between our fav dreamer couple there...miss that. Karen, I missed what Liz said to Max about studying... that she said to tell her they were studying French!
* I KNEW Tess' line about the baby being linked to her was a crock -- I knew it when she said to Max that she knew he could never do that (put the baby in danger) -- very obvious.
* Absolutely loved how EVERYONE wanted to kill her when they first saw her...especially Michael and Kyle's line to Michael of "Why haven't you killed her yet?"
* Glad they finally told the parentals, but like someone else mentioned...What, now Mr. Evans is just hunky-dorey with this new news??? Weird.
* I, too, want to hate Tess, but I have to admit she acted half-way human there at the end admitting to Liz and giving her own life to save Zan's...and everyone else's. Nice way to end it I thought.
* I was teary eyed at the end, too, Karen -- Jason did a fantastic job; very touching.
* VERY nice to see Sheriff Valenti back again...he's been MIA for too long.
* Bill Sadler did a great job directing. *clap-clap-clap*
