 Free advice for importers
On October 12 the Australian Customs Service completely overhauled the way imports are declared and processed. A significant part of this new system is that all shipments worth less than A$1000 are now Duty Free and GST exempt! When you order stuff from O/S, make sure you bring in less than a grand each time, split it over multiple shipmets if necessary, this could save you heaps.

Mods, I have no idea where to put this, so please move it accordingly. :)

Here is good, but I'll also drop a copy into the general section. Tax exempt and duty free is always good news. :)

I'll lock this one (i.e in Notices) so if we don't get dual responses.
